This well-located hotel (for both shopping and restaurants) is also close to Il Duomo. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Reception staff were friendly and efficient and the small but classy bar was well up to speed on cocktails and so on. Being part of a package I can't really say how much it costs but I...

Really good location to Duomo, Theatre and of course shopping and food. Clean and restful hotel, thoroughly recommended. Breakfast also good. And the barman makes a mean Spritzer!! Value for money and friendly staff.

The hotel was fancy (in comparison to other hotels in the area) - it had a large lobby and a spacious breakfast area overlooking the seating area. The front desk were efficient and the breakfast was good - it had the essentials and the waitors were efficient. The room that we stayed in overlooked one of the streets in Milan;...

We arrived here directly from the airport. While neither the entrance nor the lobby is especially awe-inspiring, the front desk staff impressed us with their efficiency and, more importantly, a ready room. We had ordered a triple (hard to find in Italy) and were given what looked to be a totally redone junior suite. The fold-out coach was located in...

We have stayed at various inner city hotels around Europe on our driving tours, never before have we been faced with paying 39 euros for 24 hours in a hotel car park! The alternative was 30 euros at a public car park '500m down the road' or 2 euros per hour on the road. Seeing how Italians park their cars...

Dear Sirs, we thank you for your comment always useful to understand how improve our service. We just would like to clarify a misunderstanding. Our reception intended that drilling noise was not in our building. It was unsepected so to stop the noise we had to understand from where the noise was coming, find the responsabe to speak about it...

This was a nice short stay. Bed was comfy. Room was really clean. The staff was nice. Breakfast was OK. Parking is pricey. If I ever come back to Milan, that's a good option. Hotel location is OK, as it is in walking distance to sites in the city.

I have stayed there very long time ago, but remember about it like it was yesterday. Very good location (10 minutes walk from La Scala Theatre and 15 minutes away on foot from Milan Cathedral) One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Will book it again if I will be in Milan.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
