The location is very good comparing with the price. The room size is ok. Bathroom is also not tidy, we can conveniently use it. But there is no tea&coffee&kettle in the room. Fitness facility is an extra charge. What I don't understand is that there is always more than one staff at the front. But they will only be one...

If you are passing through Milan, hotels do not come much more convenient to the centre than this. Nice bedrooms, king size bed, reasonable breakfast, good wifi and a comfortable bar lounge if you just need to sit quietly for a while. Front desk extremely helpful as I had trouble with the electronic keys and also needed a late check...

Start of our Italian trip was in Milan. Our Motel was excellent, so close to the center of town. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great. stayed there twice in one week, nothing was a bother.

We were booked into this hotel for a two night stay- the location was perfect -just a VERY short walk to the Galleria and to the Duomo. Our room was modern, clean & comfortable. Full breakfast buffet & good service. Would stay here again or recommend.

Have stayed here a number of times in the past few years. Sometimes it is fully booked or occasionally too expensive, especially during events such as Milan Fashion Week. But it is a treasure. One street away from the Duomo, but quiet and secluded. Rooms (stayed in a deluxe double) are not huge but more than adequate. Staff are very...

Spent one night here in April 2017. A great location, nice room & quiet bar. Rooftop "swimming" pool is okay for walking in but not deep enough to swim, even breaststroke! Bit expensive for what it is but we needed a centrally located hotel due to time constraints. Would not stay there if we had more than one day to...

The Sina De La Ville is about 5 minutes' walk from the Duomo, La Scala and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle. There are masses of shops and good eating places nearby. The hotel has comfortable, well appointed rooms and a pleasant lounge bar on the ground floor. The breakfast is buffet style and the range and quality of the food is...

Many of the reviews below seem to be very unfair on this hotel. The hotel is outstandingly located: three minute walks from the Duomo, 3 minutes walk from La Scala and surrounded by restaurants and cafes for all budgets (Except the very cheapest which don't exist in this touristy part of Milan). Also near some very stylish, expensive shops. Our...

We Spent 3 nights here in room 339. The room's view is of a car park, where the light beams through all night long. Large curtains help but not perfect. You can also hear the toots of cars at all hours. That's not a criticism of just this hotel though, one would think. This place couldn't be anymore central and...

I visited this hotel with family & friends . The hotel is very central literally just around the corner for the Cathedral . The hotel has very good facilities ,friendly and efficient staff and the roof top pool is a real bonus . The pool area itself is small but has sunbeds and areas of sun & shade . The...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
