We stayed at this hotel twice, once on our way in to Italy and again on our way out. Great choice. Hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the train station, which made travel much easier. The city subway line is at the train station too which made sight seeing in Milan very simple as we could quickly grab the subway to see the sights, go to restaurants and explore the city. There are also quite a few restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and the hotel has an onsite restaurant and room service for those who can't or don;t want to venture out. Rooms were very nice, clean and well serviced. Usual amenities with safe, fridge, TV, robes, slippers, hair dryer, iron and board. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the concierge was available to help with any travel or sightseeing plans. Definitely would stay here again.…
My daughter and I recently stayed at this hotel during a one day stay in Milan. We needed to be close to the train station and chose Hilton. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The room and hotel were clean and the front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We have no complaints and would stay here again. The hotel is located a short cab ride away from Il Duomo/La Scalia and it was very easy to find a taxi outside of the hotel.
Lovely stay! I really enjoyed my stay; the amazing breakfast is the icing. I’ve stayed at four of other 4 star hotels near the Céntrale Stazione and let me tell you some key things this hotel has the others don’t: - sizable staff (always someone to answer questions at concierge or address room questions at front desk and housekeeping was extremely helpful) - prompt room service - bellhop when you come to hotel to take luggage or pick up from room (this is not common for most the hotels around Milan station bc staff is usually 1-2 people) - executive lounge for Diamond members - staff is overall very friendly which you don’t get in many of the hotels near the station. I always think it’s more a regional mentality that clashes with Americans so when I do see genial service in American standards in Milan, it’s def worth noting. Rooms. I like the closet space offered in the rooms. My biggest note would be the fluorescent lighting in hallway and bathroom was a bit annoying / dated. The king mattress was very “springy” - I know traditional Italian hotels like springy harder mattresses. It was okay to sleep on but wonder if it’s good for the back or not. Good long desk space. - their breakfast is one for the books. Very well done and a whole operation in itself.…
Rooms are outdated and tired for the price you pay. Good location near train station and about 25 minutes from cathedral if you can walk. Hotel staff are not personal just functioning by doing their jobs. I had mentioned in two other hotels during my stay in Italy, I was celebrating a birthday and both acknowledged this but Hilton did not. Also, if you get a room near the roadside it is noisy and difficult to sleep.
The Hilton Milan is perfectly located by the main train station and a main metro station. They are only 3 blocks away. We used the metro with no problems. They are very clean and easy to use. The ticket machines have an english option which was lovely for us. The hotel had an incredible breakfast buffet that included made to order omelets, fresh fruit, hot meats and veggies, cheeses, pastries, fresh orange juice and coffee. Diamond members get this free along with an executive lounge. The lounge offered water and soda all day and then a happy hour in the evening that added wine and beer along with snacks an soup. The rooms were very comfortable and up to date.
So many good things about this hotel I don’t know where to start. I had a great stay for four nights. Excellent location right near the station which makes getting around milan and doing day trips outside the city very easy. Concierge is excellent - they organised tours, taxis and restaurants. They are extremely friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Room was a good size, clean and tidy. Robes and slippers were soft. House keeping did a great job and even left me extra toiletries after they realised I must have loved the moisturiser. Breakfast catered to everyone with lots of options including gluten free bread and crackers etc. I would definitely stay at Hilton milan again!
First and foremost top quality customer service. The staff there is amazing they go above and beyond to reassure everyone is comfortable. I stayed there for 2 days and I really enjoy my stay all professional staff and Eleanor’s who checked us in was lovely and helpful and also the short girl from the bar-apologies I can’t remember her name, excellent customer service skills, amazing perosn. All and all I really recommend this hotel for your stay I promise you will be looked after and will enjoy your stay
Stayed 2 nights the week before Christmas and had a great experience. Hotel is 2 blocks (they say 1, but its really two blocks in distance) but an easy and safe walk. I had a large suitcase and the stroll to the train station was quite easy. Train station also has metro, so its a 5-7 minute walk to every transit connection you could need in Milan. Got put on an executive floor and the room was monstrous, for a non-suite. Very spacious with separate table and chairs. I use a roku and connecting to tv was easy and internet was strong. Front desk staff was first-rate, with professionalism and friendliness abundant. Breakfast had a lot of options and would def recommend it should you be on the fence. It was included in my room with my Hilton status, so can't speak to value/cost. In all, I would certainly stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Milan.…
Had a rough start at check in. Only two persons working the front desk and both on the phone. Goes without saying after 20 min of waiting still no help we were upset. Long travel, being tired last thing you need is being ignored at the check in. Front desk manager showed up and offered help. After all that drama was cleared up Hilton Milan definitely delivered in big way. Great place to stay, parking was easy, hotel is well equipped for comfortable stay. Entire staff turned out to be very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and beds provided us with much needed rest. Thank you all for making our stay memorable one.
Had a wonderful stay here prior to XMAS 2022. We were met at the front desk by Gianna Sardone. What a joy she is especially after our long trek from San Francisco. Her service is top notch and she was a wonderful person to talk with over the course of our stay. She looked at our reservation/ status and suggested we wait in the Hilton Honors Lounge for Room 774 to become available. Excellent suggestion and Dimond members, try for this suite. There is plenty of space for two people to live and work. The lounge is good but the offering is basic (tea/ coffee/ light snacks in the evening/ bottom shelf spirits (Johnny Red)). The gym provides a good array of equipment. No spa that I could see on property. We checked out and Gianna sent us on our way to the train station...where I realized I had forgotten to print out our train RSVP to Zurich. Oh dear! Ran back to the hotel and guess who sprang into action? Yup. Gianna. She saved my bacon, helping me navigate the needed websites (tons of stuff in Italian), got the printer to work (a recalcitrant Toshiba), and finally helped me race out the door again. I made the train with 10 minutes to spare. BTW, the train station is an easy walk. This is a good property near the train/ metro/ bus lines. Dog walkers can go two blocks to the grass area at the train station. I can't say enough for Gianna! I hope to visit the property again and see her.…
