The hotel has the worst reservation desk EVER, which meant we never got to stay at the hotel, even though we had booked rooms 4 months in advance. Quick explanation: We booked 2 connecting rooms through booking.com in september for a stay in january, at a good price, and i guaranteed with my cc. 2 days before our stay they tell me that my cc does not work, i immediately call my bank which confirms it does work. I tell reservations, nevertheless they cancel the room. When I called them, they refused to go back to their initial offer, but offered me the same room for 30% more. As I was desperate, I accepted (silly, I know) and my friend sent - to be safe - her cc details via email. However, reservations ignored our mail and would not confirm the booking. Because nothing hapoened, I called reservations twice (my friend called 3 times) they said yesyes first and the second time hung up on me - on a guest willing to pay!!! As they had still not confirmed less than 24 hrs before our arrival, we eventually cancelled and booked somewhere else, then of course it took them hours to confirm the cancellation. Later, we saw the rooms online for double the initial price. I can only think that the cc problem was made up all along so that they could resell our rooms for more. I have stayed at rosa grand and other starhotels before and was always happy, but this rude and unprofessional behaviour is scandalous.…
Wonderful location,by the Duomo all the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. As an American who speaks no Italian it was not an issue. We wanted to go to the museums unfortunately many are closed on Monday’s, we only had two days. However, we had an amazing dinner at Da Giacomo (Ristorante ! Our Concierge made the reservation. We walked to Sforzesco Castle castle and rented bikes to tool around. The hotel staff are knowledgeable about the local area.
Excellent hotel, staff and location, let's go: The hotel is super well located, it is a few steps from Milan Cathedral, a pedestrian-only street with dozens of shops. The room is spacious, with good beds and very clean. All the staff were very attentive. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment.
They stole money from me. In the hotel. How can this be happening? I cannot tell much about the rest of my experience with them since the fact they stole money from me overshadowed the rest of my stay there.
Stayed here for one night during a stopover in Milan. The location is excellent and is central to shopping, the Duomo, restaurants and also the Christmas markets. The service at the hotel was excellent and the hotel was clean and our room was on the 8th floor. As expected the room was small but standard for European hotel rooms, and provided everything we needed during our short stay. I would stay here again as the location is great and you can walk to everything.
Stayed here for business. Location next to the Duomo is excellent. Room was nice, with a walk in closet and good bathroom. I had an issue with the airconditioning , but that was solved quickly. I liked the place and would definately stay here again when in town.
Staff is very rude and not flexible, front desk concierge receptions when I asked for help rolled her eyes! Unwilling to help right from on the approach. Rooms are over sprayed with perfumes, very cold and without noise control. Although location is great views are on KFC not acceptable for the price, doesn’t look nothing like on advertising pictures.
This is a large convention style hotel located close to the Duomo. Our room was nice and clean but the staff was impersonal and lacked customer service. The breakfast was unimpressive at best… think giant cafeteria with lots of people and No windows.
You can't beat the hotel's location - right in the heart of Milan. The levels on which the rooms are located is abit of rabbit warren but the overall standard is up to expectations. Service was discreet and professional. Would stay again.
Fantastic Hotel What a great place to stay! Just steps away from the Duomo. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was splendid- everything you can imagine- variety of breads, fruits and cheeses, bacon, cold cuts, scrambled & boiled eggs, even polenta. What a treat! This place is perfect but housekeeping could do better- like replenishing coffee pods. Such a great hotel!
