Combo is located in a typical Milanese house on the Navigli, one of the most lively and dynamic areas of Milan. It offers private and shared rooms, for 3, 4 or 6 persons, and family rooms, all equipped with air conditioning and free wifi. The hostel has a reception open 24/7, a laundry room and a large common kitchen with a terrace overlooking the park. The greenhouse and the peaceful inner courtyard are the perfect place to spend a few hours or just for a quick break. Both of our beds were infested with bedbugs, and when we went down to confront them, they said they’re probably just insects and that they’ve never had bed bugs before, but looking at their reviews, loads of other people have had bed bugs and were told the same thing. So they definitely have had this problem before (so lied to us). They also said they had a biologist in and confirmed it was not bed bugs, however we have lots of proof of the bed bugs, and they also said this ‘biologist’ cleaned the beds, but the next day they were all still there, if not more of them. We know for a fact that there was never actually a ‘biologist’, especially since it was a lie that they told every other reviewer who had the same problem. They have now been ignoring our emails. Bed bugs. The hostel has great facilities and very friendly staff, but I’m sorry to report there are bed bugs in at least some of the rooms. The staff was aware of the situation and was very responsive - there had been a previous infestation in a few rooms (including the one I was staying in) a few months ago and the room had recently been treated - unsuccessfully, it seems. Nevertheless, I wish more efforts had been made by Combo, Milano to ensure there were no bed bugs left in the room before allowing new guests in. The staff was friendly and kindly offered me a refund, some food and helped me wash my clothes in the middle of the night, and in fact throughout the night (until 5 am), but I feel it is my duty to warn people about the risks of being bitten by bed bugs (or, worse, of carrying them over with you in your luggage) if you stay there. Sadly, washing my clothes in high temperature ruined some of them, which adds to the inconvenience. I stayed in Combo, Milano on 23 August 2022, in room 123.…

Probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Staff were very friendly, nothing too much hassle Well served by the metro/trams and Navigli district is great to explore Whole place is well maintained, clean and has top air conditioning Included breakfast was basic but enough to get your day started Only thing I would change is that fact that the beds have no curtain so limited privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at Combo Milano. It was clean, modern and cool (which was greatly appreciated in a very hot July!). Service was great and the staff were friendly, especially Simone who checked us in and was helpful throughout the whole stay. Lovely areas to relax in. The location was great too being near a metro and tram stop, plus many restaurants and not far from the centre on foot either. Would recommend highly!

Great hostel! A very good vibe, great garden and very clean! They had vegan options for breakfast which was amazing (good soya lattes). Hostel was a mix of local and international, which was also great. I would recommend this place for sure!

The location was great and the building in general was beautiful, beds were comfortable. Good quality/price for a couple days. The room was smaller than expected but functional enough. Friendly staff and very responsive. Breakfast was ok, I didnt like the system where they serve you and the options were limited. I expected much more due to the good comments. The best part was having it in the patio which was SO beautiful. I would have liked the place to be a bit more clean, the bathrooms weren't clean enough and the kitchen was always a mess (yeah, guest fault). Also in the kitchen, there were not enough plates, pans and cutlery, literally there was just one knife for everyone.

If there was 6 stars on the rating, I would have rated this hostel 7 stars. I came to Milano for a tattoo and left it with particularly good memories, mostly thanks to Combo's staff. I would recommend this hostel to my friends and the room 225 in particular. This room has special advantages :).

I rarely give 5 stars and it is not for nothing. I believe you can only truly see the service when you put it to test. I had a difficult situation and I believe it was resolved very efficiently. Beds were already made and super comfy with plenty of personal space and privacy, sockets, lights, place to put clothes. The bathrooms were always clean and showers worked with proper power. Breakfast was clean with plenty of places to seat and enough quality food choises which was perfect. The only hostel where I actually loked forward to getting up for breakfast.

Great facilities, kind staff and sparkling clean shared bathrooms (at least in low season when I was). Even is not in the city center, the hostel is well connected by public transport and Naviglio is a great area for food and nightlife. The breakfast incredible )with the best seedy bread I had tried 😋) and nice staff working there. The only reason because I don’t give 5 points: we have a problem with a annoying guest in my 6-beds room, who didn’t allow sleeping anyone and the night shift receptionist couldn’t give me a solution without paying an extra amount of money. Finally, I had to spend one night in the common area. The receptionist was really kind and I’m not complaining with him but a big hostel like Combo should give enough attributions to the night staff for manage this kind of problems and make an exception is something like that happens.…

I stayed in this hostel for two nights. I remained quite impressed by the conditions of the building, although pretty recent (4 months old to date). Rooms were clean and the furniture was modern (I remained particularly surprised about showers). Besides having secured doors at each point, a guard is patrolling overnight which gives you a feeling of safety very few can guarantee. I have to recognise particular gentleness and professionalism to staff, very keen to help with each necessity. Moreover, I personally loved the check-in procedure. Essentially, it starts at the time of the booking so you have the chance to do it in advance, so when you came to the hostel you just need to confirm and that’s it. You don’t need to go to the reception, there are tablets which allow you to check-in in all comforts. Although the metro is 5 minutes by walk, you would have the chance to tour a very cosy and active area full of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Although a bit expensive, it is a good place to visit the city and not being too far from downtown.…
