Spacious rooms just a few meters from Milano Centrale. The whole place was very clean, and the breakfast was value for money. The city center is easily accessible by metro, tram or bus (many stations are very close to the hotel). It was also very quiet.

Stayed here for 1 night. The room was basic and nice. I think it could have been slightly cleaner in the bathroom and there were a lot of flies trapped in the curtains, I only stayed for 1 night so I kept them shut. Good for a quick stop over.

The NOT So Good first. The good ones are at the below. If you want to read more. Please click more. Thanks. 1. MISLEADING INFO - we travel as a family of 3. And booked a TRIPLE ROOM from Booking.com. the room name. The room picture and description mentioned is for 3 pax. 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Even the price is higher compare to the double room. Very obvious is for THREE PERSON!!!! However. When we checked in. This guy at the reception told us we have booked a TRIPLE ROOM with 2 guests. What a joke right. He even printed out some sort of hotel confirmation from his fidelio system and circle out the Triple room BUT for 2 guests only. Is that our problem really? U should sort that out with booking.com or your internal e commerce or OTA manager. We have travel from Amsterdam. Venice. Rome. Florence. And even to cinque Terre. And we have booked all Triple rooms and no hotel mentioned to us such idiotic statement: Yes. You have booked a TRIPLE ROOM BUT with 2 guests. The story continues below...... 2. RUDE AND UNCOURTEOUS RECEPTION STAFF (just one particular bad rotten apple) When we checked in on 11 Feb around 5pm evening time. This reception guy who is manning the front desk told us the above statement. And as a nice. Well mannered and educated family of 3. We did not argue with him. We just pay for the so called extra 3rd guests for our Triple Room which is already a higher rate compare to the double room. An extra euro30 per person per night. We stayed for 2 nights. We can pay. We are not cheap! No worries. But please don't show us that kind of ego and think that we are trying to cheat by booking 2guests for a TRIPLE ROOM. This is what his reaction. Body language and expression shown to us. And for the remaining day and also the next day 12 Feb 2020. Evening time. Whenever we meet or passby the lobby and reception, He just ignored and treated n regard us as air n invisible. Even when we say Hi first . How rude was that. We still enjoyed Italy and Milan. Not thanks to Hotel 43 Station. #they have city map of Milan. But every weird. They hide it. Did not even provide to you when u checked it. U need to ask from them. Then only they will provide. Good ones. 1. Location -5 mins to Centrale FS - bus shuttle service to airport is next block. (Paid service. Euro10 per way) -decent restaurant nearby. Western. Vietnamese and Chinese. 2. Room - clean. Wooden flooring. Not cold during winter. - well lighted up. -Nice body gel and shampoo.

After we booked 43 STATION hotel for our December 2019 Milan trip , we read some bad reviews from internet , it really makes us second thought , we sent a e-mail to hotel and they replied really quick and sincerely . We decided give a try . Here is our experience for our 2 times stay : Pros : - Check in / out is fast and efficient - Breakfast really good , good coffee and good restaurant staff , especially the young lady we meet every morning , thanks all the restaurant guys you did a great job . - Bed is excellent comfortable - Room is big enough , enough space for 2 * 28 inch luggage - When you close the window it's silent enough - Our first room had bath tub which is good - Room cleaning is great , cannot say spotless but excellent job on boutique hotel - Luggage storage at reception is free and easy - Only 5 minutes walk from Central station , feels safety neighborhood - Had at least 4 CCTV all over the floor Cons : - No kettle at room you can borrow from reception - Only 2pcs one time plastic cup in the whole room , it's difficult to brush teeth and drink hot water . - Toilet cannot flush properly even engineer came to repair but cannot fix . - Shower water pressure is small - TV had no USB playback We're so glad stayed in 43 STATION HOTEL , good choice , definitely come again .

We find Milan hotels generally expensive, but 43 Station Hotel seemed to be reasonable in comparison, good room, nice breakfast, very convenient for the train station. In our case we were meeting a bus transfer to a Costa cruise ship at Genova.....the meeting point was closer than the station so it worked out really well. The hotel recommended a restaurant - Pane e Tulipani - 3 minute walk and turned out to be an excellent choice. Overall very happy with the experience.
