The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

We stayed at Camperio House for a weekend city break to Milan, on the whole it was an enjoyable experience.

Pros:
• Location - located only a ten minute stroll for Il Duomo and surrounded by several metro stations, getting around whether for shopping, sightseeing or anything fo

The reviews all looked great so I booked this place, but evidently the same company runs both a hotel and an apartment building, so due to some unknown mistake I was booked for an apartment instead of an actual hotel. The apartment was dirty and disgusting and the man who let us

Wow, this location can not be beat! Very close to pedestrian walking street and short walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the Duomo. Plus, the room was incredibly large and even had a large balcony that looked out over a small street. Breakfast was also very good. The staff even

Off the plane and into the room asap for a snooze. The apartment was lovely. Small and functional with a good bathroom and quiet setting.
We walked out to see the town and it was very well located. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We experienced no difficulties at all.

Misery loves company... I had 4 miserable hot nights in early April.. After asking for a fan from every employee I could find I knew I was in trouble when the receptionist had to Google the word FAN... I was told there was no fan.. B.S. By this time I was finished begging for cold air... - - YouTube - Camperio House - to see how my good hot open window night went...
What i the best way to reach you from Milan's Centrale Train station? Cab? If yes what would be the cost? Also can we buy metro passes from your front desk?
Dear sir or Madame We are traveling with 2 infants at 9 months old. Would you be able to provide baby cots for our stay? Thank you Dorota
My reply is the same as the previous reviewer. Having said that, you may wish to inquire via e-mail as some of the people at reception speak only Italian...or very little English.

Hi Valentina, may I know if there is an elevator in this apartment?
As others have noted, there is a stair from reception to the elevator. Those in a wheelchair may find that troublesome. I suspect those with a cane would not. There are no other obstacles. Having said that, I cannot recall if there are stairs from the restaurant to the elevator...I know there are stairs from the restaurant to the side sidewalk/street.
