We booked here last minute as there was an issue with the other hostel we booked. We were in a mixed 4-bed dorm. The room was pretty clean and not too cramped and it had a bathroom attached as well. Sleep quality wasn't great as it was quite loud from outside and it got cold with the AC on all night and only a sheet to cover you, but that could just be me. Every bed had a box to put your stuff in that could be locked and unlocked with the fob attached to the room key which was very handy. There was an outdoor space with tables and chairs so you could sit or eat. The staff were nice and friendly as well. The hostel also had Wifi which seemed very reliable for what we needed it for. The location was perfect; a Lidl round the corner, a few minutes walk to the metro station and then a couple of stops on the metro and you're at the central station.…
If I could give this hotel a -1 out of 10… I would. This was the worst experience me and my best friend have ever been through. First and most important: The photos they use for advertisement are completely false. Do not trust them. The “hostel” (if you can call it that way) is located in a not so nice neighborhood (wouldn’t recommend arriving at night). When you arrive, don’t panic, the front desk is not as bad as the rooms, so don’t start panicking like we did. Save it for later. Rooms? Yeah, small, old, our was dirty and we had to spend the entire evening enjoying the sweet smell of stinky feet (because the room only had a small window from which the air doesn’t come in, so the smell did not come out either). We know the smell is not the hostel’s fault, but just be careful if you are choosing one of the shared rooms because you never know if you will enjoy the company from other people (one of our roomies, for example, was drunk, arrived at 5am and got naked in front of my friend and me before going to sleep) The air conditioning was not working and the beds are particularly small. When we went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and we ran into a full-of-puke sink… yeah, nice. We wanted to check the showers before going to sleep so we could have an idea of what to expect in the morning… basically we’re walking down the streets of Milan without showering. There was no way for us to get in those dirty showers Thank goodness we just had to spend 6 hours in that place. This “hostel” needs to be shut down.…
Our room was dirty. The receptionists weren’t friendly at all. Very standard, old room. The breakfast was horrible too. For the price we paid we expected a bit more. Luckily we didn’t spend much time in our accommodation. At night time was also loud. Not much sleep we had.
I booked a mixed 6 bed room because i didn't wanted to spend more money. I already did this before in other countries and i’ve never had an experience like this one. I was in a room with 4 really nice guys and one HARASSER named Maximiliano, from Calabria and the hostel KNOWS and they don’t do anything about it. It all started with jokes and comments until the second day there me and two of my other roomies told him that his comments weren’t funny any more and that he was too close to cross the line. That night i took a bath at 4am because i couldn’t sleep and suddenly someone tried to force the door of the shower room i was in, luckily i had locked the door before getting into the shower just in case. When i got back to the room he was awake so i started suspecting it was him. A few days later i was packing my things and he woke up, i didn’t even realized that he was the only one in the room but as nothing else happened those days i didn’t feel like i had to worry about it. When he woke up he sat like staring at me so i look down because i started to feel uncomfortable and i went back to what i was doing but quicker because i wanted to get out of there. He spoke to me so i looked at him and he was staring at me and touching himself and i run to find the other guys to help me. They were super nice and supportive with me. I still feel sick about it and i can’t errase the image of my mind. This people is everywhere so i had bad luck maybe but A couple of hours later one girl found out about my episode and told me that she had been in the exact same situation a few days earlier and when she called the police they told her that he was out of jail because someone had payed to get him out of there so they couldn’t do anything about it. Then when i told what happened to two of the people in charge of the front desk they only asked me if i wanted to change from that room to another one!!! I told them i was leaving but i wanted them to do something first because i didn’t wanted this to happen to other girls at the hostel ever. The answer was: “we can’t kick him out because he pays to live here”. In conclusion, i won’t even bother to talk about the hostel indeed. I just want to warn you that this guy may still libe there and i wouldn’t like that anyone had to live the situation i had to live.…
Best hostel I have ever stayed in call my staff were very lovely and helpful especially Brian. The food was really nice and they give you a free breakfast and a free meal in the evening and you can have as much as you want. The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean with fresh linen on them. They give you extra towels if you need them and nothing was too much trouble
Rather unusually, I opted to stay at a hostel rather than an apartment/B&B with my girlfriend (hostels are not her thing), and it turned out to be a great decision. We shared a twin room for a night which came to a total cost of £60, and included a buffet dinner and buffet breakfast. Therefore cut the costs of an expensive meal in Milan. The food was pretty decent and it’s the most I’ve eaten in Italy as they just kept filling it up! It’s an easy walk to the metro too - about 7 minutes. The room is extremely comfy, and the private bathroom is great for hostels too.
Amazing stay, Nice rooms with private bathroom, two outdoor terraces, free dinner and breakfast everyday, and kind staff. The hostel is ok close to a metro. It was also very clean. I would definitely come back!
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Nice, large, clean rooms. There is an electric radiator which gives good heating on colder days. Breakfast and dinner included in rate, sadly we arrived too late for dinner. Breakfast is ok, variety of jams, bread, se fruits, juice and some sweets. Reception helpful. Only reason for 3 stars is that one of the kitchen staff has told me off for eating too much-how dare she? She is getting paid from customer's money, let them decide when they feel full. Rude! Location: tram stop 2min, buses around, underground 15min walk.
My experience was not the best, the staff are not friendly, the room cleanliness was not the best with a huge spider hanging off the ceiling, and the food was bad. The internet was really poor, and we couldn't stay in the outdoor area at night. I had to change hostels after 3 days.
Upon arriving, I was greeted, if that might be the word, by very cold staff. No one gave the tour of the hostel. It all felt clinical. Food (breakfast and dinner) was ok for two days. The room was good - it was warm, the bed was comfortable, there was always warm water, hairdryer is available. The hostel is well connected to the centre of the city (by tram and metro). I didn't take the bus at any point. For the stay of two days, I would recommend buying a two day ticket for transportation (8.25€) - it is used in busses, trams and metro. Lidl is in close proximity to the hostel (5 minute walk).
