We stayed at this well maintained hotel for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. It is elegant yet relaxed. They have a friendly helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed breakfast and evenings on the patios to enjoy the beautiful view. After spending time in Rome and Florence the peaceful quiet was the perfect way to wind down our trip.

Regina Palace is a modern hotel with great historic furnishings that are delightful and remind you of the great hotels of the past which is wonderful and historic bring back the days of upscale lodging that is not degraded by making the pubic places almost empty with no design elements from historic era. the rooms are very nice, all with balconies... Spent a week here in a room overlooking the lake. Second time we have stayed at this hotel and sixth time in stresa. Hotel is as everyone says out of the twenties. However it is very well kept and although not modern neither tired as well. The indoor pool and spa is an underground delight and somewhere to enjoy and... More

Unlike so many hotels of this style, the Regina Palace is well maintained. The staff were motivated, helpful and attendant. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station (fast trains to and from Milan) and is about 5 minutes walk from the town with its shops and restaurants as well as the port for the boats to... This is a beautiful hotel located on the waterfront and within a few minutes away from central Stresa. It is an old but well maintained hotel with elegant public spaces. The rooms are small but well appointed. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool with view of the surrounding mountains. The bed and pillows were a bit on the... More

This was our first visit to Stresa and to the Regina Palace Hotel but I can assure you that it won’t be the last. The hotel was chosen by a friend to celebrate a 50th birthday and what a great choice it turned out to be. The Regina Palace Hotel is centrally located and right on Lake Maggiore so getting... More

We stayed three nights. It is a wonderful hotel with generous sized rooms. Wifi is available in the rooms. It is on the shoreline of Lake Maggiore and just a few blocks from the downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Good food at the restaurant. The bar was well stocked with almost any beverage you might desire... More

Beautiful hotel, in an excellent position. Went for a week at end of July. Booked standard double room, b&b. We asked for a quiet room and were put at the end of a corridor so the room was quiet. The room was not very big, but adequate. Usual amenities, fridge, TV, safe, sufficient hanging space in wardrobe. Bathroom nice but... More

My husband & I have just spent 4 days here. The hotel is beautiful & the staff very helpful & friendly, however there are some aspects which do let it down. We had a junior suite, lake view. The room was a little tired, curtains falling down, light switch broken, Jacuzzi needed a clean as there was mould & dirt... More
