We were on a family trip in July this year. The stay was really nice, Federico is the most hospitable owner that I have ever met. Not only did he give us lifts but also dropped our baggage at the station. Breakfasts were freshly made and the rooms were clean. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! The owner of this beautiful place, Federico, was very open, kind-hearted, and hospitable/welcoming. The apartments were very cozy, good equipped and clean, the breakfast was tasty, and the location was good (about 20-25 minutes on foot to the city center, which was more than okay for me and my mother as we love walking). There is also the option to take a bus. Federico also sent us some recommendations regarding which places to visit, a link to the timetable, and online tickets for the water boat. This was really helpful, and our stay in Lecco was truly great! I highly recommend this place due to the owner's loyalty, family atmosphere, and good apartments. Thank you once more time! 😍

We were there for 3 nights and we enjoyed it very much. It's a great family-run B&B with great, friendly contact with the owners. The main "owner" know english and there wasn't any language problems at all. He was always trying to help. The room itself was very clean and we had a small balcony with a great view for some of the mountains. Bathroom was big and kinda "modern". Location: I will be honest. If you're looking for "Italian postcard" type of location, it's not the best. But we enjoyed it anyway! It's far away from city centre and there's a lot of industrial buildings nearby, but there are a lot of buses, shops and restaurants nearby to reach the city centre. It's also worth to mention that for the whole trip across Lombardy region we used just a public transport. There are a lot of trains and buses in the whole region. Also metro in Milan is very good! About the pricing, I can't honestly say if it was OK or was overpriced. It was our first trip to Italy so we're not sure. For sure I'd like to visit this B&B again! Pros: - Good view from a balcony - Very friendly and helpful owners, english speaking (only Federico) Also worth to mention that the other lady is very nice too and you can speak with her in Italian using translate. - Clean and nice room, bathroom - Good breakfast. You can order other things like scrambled eggs but we decided to stay on sweet croissant diet :D - Not far away from restaurants, bus stations, grocery store - You can easily get an invoice if you need. Cons: - Wifi wasn't the best. There was a lot of times that I lost signal during the talk with family - I don't know why but I had to wait for over 4mins to have a hot water in the shower - Maybe there's a lot of buses nearby, but anyway this hotel is quite far away from city centre - Not the best looking industrial buildings nearby. It's a great place for staying for the night but not for admiring Italian buildings

I had the pleasure to stay at this family-owned hotel for a little bit more than one week in 2022. So this is a quite cozy place where you almost live together with the owner, and he himself and his family are the receptionist and the kitchen and housekeeping staff. I loved my room: High roof, spacious, huge bathroom, clean, air conditioned, good Wifi. In particular, I probably wouldn't have survived without the possibility to cool down the room with more than 34 degrees outside. There is a (popular) pizza place not too far away, and an excellent ice cream shop on the other side of the street. And you can fill water in the nearby park; however, they close it during the night. And then there were a few drawbacks: The place is far from the centre (~30 min. by foot), so you will want to take the bus, if not you are a power walker. Next, for someone not used to the Italian way of life, it's quite noisy due to the traffic and neighboring industry, from early in the morning. A room door which does not keep much sounds out contributes to this. The breakfast is kind of limited in choice (as compared to a huge continental breakfast), but I liked it somehow. There is some variation each day, and the coffee / espresso (dark and tasty) is a dream!

Really nice and spacious B&B (the room is very complete including kitchen). Everything is very clean and the breakfast is delicious and various. The people who are running this B&B are extremely friendly. They even made us separate breakfast since we had to leave early.

Had a great stay at Povara Trentuno accomodation while attending a wedding in Lecco. Nice and clean, and most importantly, rather big apartment with everything you would need (iron, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, air conditioning). All the amenities work and I always appreciate a big bathroom. The host was very welcoming and even helped organize the local transportation to the wedding venue. 15 min walk to the Lecco station and city center. All in all, a very good place to stay if you are in town.

Bottom line : Overpriced at $105 in June and you might need earplugs. NO parking. “Free” street parking. Breakfast very basic and it ends way too early at 9:00 AM (there was a note to ask for any special request but we didn’t try). WiFi was intermittent. Nice, updated place and nice “hosts”. BUT there is some noise from the road (which in the most part dies down over night) and from the inside (like the family dog that barks as late as 11pm and as early as 6am). There is NO insulation to speak of and the door has wide gaps so noise depends on the curtsy of the other guests (and the dog :-). You hear snoring, talking and more… Updated, specious and well lit bathroom but dismal toiletries (a few little pouches of “body shampoo” and a hand soap pump). Better bring your our soap… The shower was pretty weak and has only “shower head” (no “hand held”). The a/c is very good (preset to 25) but its filter was very dirty and it had a bright blue light. We had a “do not disturb sign” on the door AND we said “NO Grazie “ when the lady proprietor asked us if we would like her to refresh the room and yet, she entered our room while we were out. We didn’t appreciate it at all. No elevator (that’s good for you!). Easy walk to the river and city center.

My little daughter and I really enjoyed our holiday in Italy. The family was very warm and friendly and the breakfast was divine (and indulgent ;)). It had everything we needed. Definitely will come back to this place again once traveling is a possibility. Thank you from Indonesia.
