Great place to stay surrounded by fabulous landscapes. Facilities are very clean, and personnel is helpful and friendly. Only down point to mention, there are no mixed rooms (only separate rooms for boys and girls).

Motorbiking through Europe, enjoying life and south Europe for 7 weeks. alas, it was time to start my journey to the north. Being on holidays for 7 weeks meant I was a bit low on cash. Ostello Villa Olmo was the perfect solution to my problem. After 6 hours on the bike I was looking for some good food, a...

Pros: Great location (15 min walk from the lake), clean with ensuite bathroom, and friendly staff. They have delicious homemade pizzas for 4 euros as well as beer, wine etc. and you can rent a bike for 16 euros for the day which is an excellent price. Cons: I didn't read the reviews beforehand which was a big mistake, because...

I spent just a couple of nights but this place Lake Como worth at least a week, I love the views and staff for this place is very gentle, rooms are clean and well distributed, it is easy to move for main point since this place. Bathrooms and showers are the cleanest in Italy so thats great.

Weird rules! They turn off the wi fi at midnight and they force you to be inside the room after midnight!!! I had a terrible experience!! It was summer time and the room was very hot, there was no fan, no air conditioner. I did a gilrfriend from my room and we went try to find the wifi signal downstairs,...

Some positive notes I will start off with for this hostel is it is very cheap compared to other hostels I have stayed in Italy. The place is owned by an Italian couple and they are very nice. They will inform you about certain events at the time and some great sights to see. The dinner was delicious and there...

Tl;Dr I would never stay here again. Why: This hostel has some positives. Friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Good storage. Clean bathrooms. Knowledgeable of city activities. Sadly this hostel has tons of negatives. Beginning with the 10-4 gap where you cannot check in or be at the hostel. Which sucks for you if your train arrives during that six hour...

An stereotype Italian couple is in charge of the hostel and takes the roles of receptionist, host, barrista, cook, waitress and tripadvisor very seriously. They really created their own Italian dream. Very welcoming, amazingly hospitable and the misses has some great suggestions such as discount trips to bellagio from the hostel. The hostel itself is great for what you pay....

I was travelling on the Zurich - Milano train line, and I stayed at this hostel for two nights almost seven years ago. This part of Italy is really beautiful and worth seeing. The hostel was all right. It was a budget accommodation for this otherwise expensive part of the country. The breakfast was included but it was super basic...
