The staff are great and the hotel is worth every penny you pay. Room service is excellent and breakfast is so nice The view is also nice The rooms are spacious and it was one of my best stays at a Hilton hotel. I recommend this hotel Very modern and the rooftop bar/coffee shop has a wonderful view
This is a great hotel for being pampered whilst enjoying fantastic views over Lake Como. The hotel is easy to reach and has a large underground car park (at a fee). Waiting times at reception were sometimes a bit long due to it being very busy (middle of high season), but not too long. Service in general was very good, friendly and professional. Being Hilton Honours Gold member, we were upgraded to a very nice room with balcony, which was very spacious, clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. We also made use of the gym, which is quite well equipped and kept very clean. Breakfast was good but very busy with quite a long wait for the buffet (due to Covid measures). The rooftop terrace with restaurant, bar, pool and loungers was beautiful with great views over Lake Como. It was quite busy on that rooftop terrace though during the day, so that loungers were fully occupied quite quickly, but luckily other comfortable chairs were available as well. We would definitely consider staying here again when next in the Como area, especially if we can find a room for a good price.…
Couldn't ask much more from the hotel. Lucky to have won 2 nights via a silent auction pre covid pandemic and 2 years later managed to go. Stayed in a balcony suite which was truly amazing, overooking the lake. All staff were very nice and friendly giving great advice about the area. My 2 year old boy lived the pool, previously not a fan. He has grown up a cjvud baby shy in interaction, however now a como baby. Absolutely loved his time here. We went to balligio on the ferry, Worth the trip. Como town itself is fantastic. We spent more time there exploring then in Milan so e great shops and of course gelato to be had. Lake como is one, if not the most naturally prettiest places I've been too.
The room (141) was a very stylish five star room, with most elegant bathroom designs I have ever encountered - minimalist and worthy of a design magazine. The whole hotel is modern, in great condition and with stunning views from the rooftop. Chiara on reception was friendly and helpful and there's parking on site. The public areas are wonderfully designed. However, the value proposition is a little off. 24 euros a person for breakfast on top of an already high room rate is a bit cheeky, and compares badly to equivalent five star properties (see my Marseille review), 39 euros per person to use the sauna is a joke quite frankly - if there is a fear of crowding make booking mandatory, but don't charge for what every other hotel offers for free. There's on site parking. The main problem is the location - set back from a busy road with a rundown closed Indian restaurant next door (hint - buy it and demolish it and replace with Hilton branded apartments), one block away from the lake itself. It's a rather unattractive 15 minute walk to Volta memorial and the town centre. The room was quiet and the hotel is lovely, but the rather…
Excellent hotel with exceptional service and breathtaking views. Location is very convenient with close proximity to major attractions, shops, and restaurants, which are all within walking distance. Amenities in the hotel are superb and parking is very simple. Highly recommended.
