We have just returned yesterday from a three night stay in Bergamo. Having read some of the reviews on here we travelled with a few concerns about what our accommodation would be like. We were expecting noisy streets, unreplenished breakfasts and 60 steps to reach our room! Our experience couldn't have been more different. We had booked the transfer service... More

First off, anticipate that if you plan on staying in the heart of the "Old Town" of Bergamo (or many other similar European towns), there probably will be some challenges (logistical and otherwise) that you will need to deal with. Such is the case with this property. It has a great location just down from the Piazza Vecchia and with... More

View was superb, location amazing, the apartment was well appointed, comfortable and roomy. The big let down was breakfast, when we arrived, despite the early hour, everything was eaten with no replenishments. The staff were wonderful though and the atmosphere alone was well worth the stay.

The place is very hard to reach the streats are terribly narrow. There is no elevator and when you apply for information they say the room is on the first floor but they do not tell you there are 60 (!!!) stairs fto climb to the first floor ! Very diaspointing

Good location, though difficult to find, especially by car. Booked 2 bedroom suite which was actually a two bedroom apartment in main building although lack of dishes or cooking utensils rendered kitchen unusable. We received a nice orientation upon our arrival in English except for the most basic item—how to exit front door of building located in a dark hallway... More

What a beautiful b&b situated in the old town of Bergamo. Beautiful rooms, clean and open. Breakfast was lovely and the staff incredibly helpful. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants local and very easy to travel around the city and further.

This B and B is wonderfully situated in the old town, but rather difficult to find, even with a sat nav. Impeccably clean and prettily furnished, and very close to all the bells, which mercifully stop at night!!! But it was part of the charm. We were on the top floor (triple room), which was lovely, but there was no... More

It was our 3 visit in Bottom d'Oro, but this time we stayed at Via Gombito 3. The room is nice and clean, as expected. This time there were some things that could be better. We didn't have enough toilet paper and there was a lack of shower gel. The toilet makes a loud noice when flushing. The breakfast was... More

Impossible to sleep because of the noise from other rooms, in the kitchen and outside. Not much variety during breakfast. There was no air condition. The owner told us to ring the bell if we needed anything, she didn't answer at all. The costumer service was terrible. I do not recommend this place.
