Flight cancellation led us to this hotel, after receiving advice of cancellation less than 4 hours before flight. Strange business type hotel sited behind public car car park ramp, but otherwise very acceptable for our purpose. Facilities a bit dated and we left before breakfast started to catch early train to Verona airport. If ever in Bergamo again likely to try something nearer historic centre. Good staff at reception.
A quality hotel location. We got a really nice room at 7 floor, which was a superb quiet one (unless your neighbours on the floor are throwing a party :), low chances though indeed). Originally we thought it was the most impractical room we ever seen, but later we got used to it. Lowlight - room safe is very impractical to use, requires a magnetic stripe to lock it...? (@NH - fix it to nowadays standards!). The best part was the room came with its own spacious private terrace offering a view of Bergamo - really nice, thank you NH! Breakfast was nice, no complains there. The parking is not related to the hotel at all, it is a public parking house and you need to manage through few steps (with your luggage) in order to get to the front desk. Location is pretty good - several places around to eat, a shopping street nearby and even the old city of Bergamo practically is a walking distance... Overall pretty cool & full rating from me!…
Very nice Hotel and friendly staff, good city centre position, good value for your money. In my opinion the only minus of the Hotel is the AC system that is not very flexible to your desired temperature
The NH hotel in Bergamo is a very comfortable hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast. Its location is reasonable for those who want to visit the upper city, but very good for those traveling by train.
Expensive and tired hotel. Parking hard to find but then ok. Room small, dark but comfortable. The bed on wheels and kept moving -rather irritating. Breakfast ok. No restaurant. The hotel is centrally located and near bars and restaurants.
Although the staff was very good, the rooms are small and bathrooms need to be refurbished. Small lobby. Does not have the feel of a 4 star hotel. The hotel entrance is below street level; ramp or stairs are needed. Luggage may be hard to carry. Location is very good; in the center of town and a 5 min walk to train station
Good location - near Bus- and Train station, cleanliness, very friendly stuff, good price-value ratio, quiet street, close to the center, excellent mattresses in the room, fitness, good breakfast, spacious bathroom,
Perfect night stay. We travelled for the weekend and stayed one night after spending the day in Milan. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and clean and the heating system easy to manage. Only 2mins walk to the station
We managed a short break in between restrictions. Hotel was in a great location, close to everything we could walk to the train station, Citta Bassa and the funicular. Breakfast was typical continental, quite a lot of choice but not really to our taste. There was an open bar for snacks and drinks but unfortunately there was no coffee mach8ne at all during our stay. I would stay here again if back in Bergamo.
Like many NH hotels this place is showing its age. It is an average offering in a good location. The room was ok but my main problem was the old style air conditioning that kept turning on intermittently and making a hell of a noise. This caused a restless sleep. Apart from that the shower/bath did not drain so ended up showering in 10 inches of water! I guess the options are limited. Breakfast 6/10 Location 9/10 -near station Service 8/10 Noise 3/10 Room decor 6/10. Comfort 6/10
