We stayed last week for a few days in the lovely old town of Rapello. We choose the Hotel Portofino because of its location in the town centre, but access to the beach in two minutes. The hotel is unusual because the reception and rooms are on the first floor.Parking is a challenge, but the owner Stephania kindly sorted me out.Our...

This hotel is in a convenient location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the waterfront. The staff were absolutely lovely - it felt more like you were staying in someone's family home and they went out of their way to help us and were always super friendly. The rooms are small and...

This is a very central hotel two blocks away from the waterfront. It is run by a family who is very kind and friendly. The breakfast is OK, but the dinner is wonderful, give it a try. The rooms don't have much of a view, in fact most give on to roofs, the bathrooms are very small, but there is...

Reasonably priced hotel in a very good location. Hotel is situated close to train station (5 min walk). Staff is helpful, room is descent, with high ceiling and nicely decorated. Bathroom needs some kind of upgrade (very noisy flush). Nice balcony-terrace. Great breakfast for the hotel category. Wifi as weak. Generally, Rapallo is a great location in order to explore...

A central and very good Hotel. Freshly renovated, spacious rooms with high ceilings, the owners are super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is good too. The hotel does not have any parking but can provide you with some "wild parking card" allowing you to park nearly everywhere with no extra fees. Our room did not have air conditioning but...

A hotel with warm atmosphere and good standard located close to the sea. The bus stop is just outside the door so it's easy to take a short bus ride to Portofino or explore the nearby cities. I would definitely recommend Hotel Portofino.

Thats what you call an italian warm welcome. After a long day travelling we popped in this hotel to ask about hostels. We soon realized that it was the best value we could have hoped for. The room was spacious and charming. The breakfast was very enjoyable on the terrasse with the morning sunshine. The best thing about our stay...

What can I say..... We just LOVED this hotel. Stefania, the owner was very friendly and helpful! We were two couples travelled together and she gave us the 2 rooms at the end of the passage opposite each other. We both had large rooms overlooking the canal. Large bathrooms and nice showers. We had to leave very early the next...

I guess the prices are value for money as it's summer and high season..however, it's not cheap. Location is good and they have parking at the street. Nice breakfast! Rooms are old, its in a residential house, with no aircon. The couple running the place is very friendly.

Good location. around five mins to walk to the beach. The bus stop was just opposite the hotel. The room was very cosy with classical style. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Good price in such an expensive area.
