If you are looking for budget accommodation in La Spezia to use as a base, you can't look past this hotel. The rooms have recently been renovated and so we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort considering it's only 2 stars. Best aspect was the owner. So helpful and informative and happy to make the extra effort. For us this...

Great location, easy parking and easy walking distance to Cinque Terre boats, market, and Centro. Sara was so kind and helpful. She couldn't do enough to help. Great breakfast--lots of variety. Only drawback--small bathroom/shower. Exceeded our expectations.

I stayed here in May, 2014 on my way from Milan to Barga. We had a day to spend and decided to sleep here and spend the remainder of the day in the Cinque Terre. The hotel is small, rather old and not in any sort of scenic area. The room was small, but very clean and well appointed. At...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Everything was great. We were in new and clean room with balcony. The bathroom was a little small, but it was not a big problem for us. The staff was very very kind. The lady on the reception gave us a lot of useful information. Every morning we found home made sweets...

We stayed here as a base to visit Cinque Terre and Portevedere. We booked this hotel last minute and were very happy with our choice. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station in a quiet area. The receptionist is very helpful and determined to make guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was clean and...

I stayed here for two nights en route to another part of Italy. It is a simple but comfortable place, an easy 10-15 minute walk from the station. it is on a quiet side street so I personally found it very quiet in the evening. It's in a normal part of town where normal people go to normal shops and...

Hi Carol! It was a honor to have you in our Hotel You were so nice and smart, and your impressions really made us feel better. As you said, our area, is one of the most safe in town ( I could say La Spezia is one of the most safe towns in Italy), and everyday (not on sundays) the...

Hotel staff, Domenico and Sara were very pleasant and helpful. The bathroom was tiny and there were some noise issues, e.g., doors slamming at times, people talking loudly in corridors. (Not much they can do about that, there are a lot of hard surfaces.) My room was basic but comfortable. I would recommend it as a place to stay for...

We used Hotel Brillio as our base for visiting the Cinque Terre. It is reasonably close to the train station - about 1.5km walk, so fine if you have a pack. I think the first night we caught a cab and it cost €10 to get from the station to the hotel. The rooms are recently redecorated and fresh, and...

Hello! Thank you for your review, we're happy that you liked the positive things that you mentioned There are some things that unfortunately we cannot improove, caused by the fact that we're not the owners of the hotel.
