We went to the hotel the 05/10/2016, The room was very old and not well preserved and the hotel is in a dark ugly alley. The double beds are just 120 cm wide although they were shown as standard full size on the web, they are tiny... But the worst is that to our complaints the night receptionist was awfully... More

Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! The only hote on our way to Cinque Terre that had a room available - no wonder why. Creepy neighborhood, weird parking area. No elevator, so had to carry the suitcase upstairs. The room was tiny and dirty. Didn't risk to take the shower and barely touched anything. Breakfast: Biscuits and coffee,... More

The Hotel is centraly located not far from the train station. If you have luggage be prepared to haul it up the flight of stairs. Hotel is on the first floor and there is no lift. Staff a really unfriendly bunch who had no interest at all - seemed to think they were doing us a favour! Breakfast was ok.... More

This Hotel was an excellent choice as we had only 24 hours in Genova and the location is great, very close to all the sites we wanted to visit and very close to the Subway Stations Darsena and St Giorgio. Only a 5 min walk from the Museum Galata di Mare, the Aquarium and all the Palaces and Porto Antiko.... More

This hotel has nice breakfast, help full staff and good location. Good wifi connection and free. It is in old town and close to Port Antico and Galata Maritime museum. There are many cafe and snack facilities around hotel. Just the lift is so small for two persons.

Been there in a bussines trip and stayed for 3 nights. Very convenient location in the old city, reasonably clean, but that would be all. Room and bathroom are very small, Tv is hooked on a wall making access between it and bed a constant challenge. Breakfast is fairly basic and for those used to have a proper food before... More

This is a plain and simple hotel, but quite good value in my experience (£108 for three nights). My room there was small but adequate, with walls in a marine shade of blue and a mural over the bed depicting two rather amorous-looking dolphins. The breakfast room is also small with pleasant decor and, though there is a modest range... More

We rolled into Genoa without any reservations, so we visited a hotel suggested in a guidebook. There was no vacancy, so we wandered over to the Hotel Acquario, pulling our big bags with wheels down the clunky, cobblestone streets. The hotel is located off a very narrow street that leads into an even narrower street that's so small that it's... More

Booked a one night stay as my sister and I were embarking on a cruise from Genoa the following day. We are both in our 70's and were shocked when we arrived at this very rundown hotel to find that there was no lift and we were expected to lift 23kgs of luggage up a flight of stairs. There was...
