Hotel Fiume does not just offer great value but it also provides great service as it is run by people who clearly care about their business and their customers. The hotel is in an excellent location near Stazione Brignole and the surrounding areas afford easy access to a myriad of bars and restaurants as well as being within walking distance...

We loved our one night stay here. Great location to walk from to eat and shop. Bright, colourful and modern rooms with great photography on the walls, the kids especially loved it. Staff were multilingual and extremely helpful, caring and happy with great recommendations for local eating and attractions. Would have stayed longer if we had the time.

This hotel is very affordable and still not far from the centreof Genova. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bathroom and shower somewhat outdated but we liked the hotel anyway.

Easy walk to historic center of Genoa, very polite and kind owner, clean and not so small room. The missing fifth dot is for difficult in parking. Easy access to big (payment) parking lot, railway staton, bus stop. Many expensive bars and nice restaurants around. Honest pricing.

Located near the Brignole railway station the hotel is refurbished and a great value for money . The owners are really friendly and you are at walking distance to the Príncipe piazza or ten old port . To work your car if lucky like we were you can park in ten blue area and the hotel will give you a...

Stayed here a few days ago and had a great experience. I was in room 9 which faces the main road and although the traffic noise is audible the double glazed windows do a great job of dampening the sound. I slept well anyway. The room was bright and nicely decorated with large ensuite facility. Everywhere was clean and well...

My husband and I stayed for three nights and were pleased with this hotel. Good eating around the corner for a quick lunch and a nicer restaurant the hotel recommended just down the street where we had a nice longer dinner. While we were not there very much, the breakfast was a great way to start our day and always...

Positives: very clean and well serviced, 100 metres from Brignole station, close to most of Genova's main attractions, helpful reception, competitive tariffs. Negatives: exterior street very noisy, no lift for cases, uncomfortable bed with bumpy innerspring mattress, no complimentary tea or coffee. Worth considering.

First off, Genoa has a bit of bad reputation. Some of the guide books make it sound run down and sketchy. Genoa is actually pretty impressive, with fantastic churches, elegant palazzos and a great old section of town. The Hotel Fiume is located right across the street from the Stazione Brignole, which is in a better part of town than...

What a great find just across the road from Brignole Train Station. Fantastic and friendly service, would definitely recommend this hotel surrounded by little alleys of shops and cafés. Though the room was a little old, the price and location was reasonable and we loved it.

Thank Sarah P
