I was surprised to find the location so central, nice spacious rooms with a sink, wardrobe, desk and TV. It's a shared bathroom, although I haven't actually had to share it with anyone! The location is fantastic and the staff super friendly, I would highly recommend. Only slight downfall is the door is locked at 1:30, so no chance for...

We were recommended here when the local hostel was full. We got a double room for €52 for one night and upgraded to have breakfast included (€57). Small but prefect room, clean, wifi and tv. Bathroom was down the hall. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely couple running the place. Would go there instead of hostel again!

The best you can get for that price. Very clean, very welcoming and warmth. GREAT location! Very closed to piazza luccoli where you can eat and drink as long as you want! A parking place is proposed to customer in the street right next to the hotel!

For being a one star hotel I was pleasently surprised. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was not big, but it was clean and will do also when I bring my wife next time. 50 meters away from public transport, but still quiet since it is in the small alleys. Good places to eat in the neighborhood and an excellent...

This is in the old quarter - great for those travelling LIGHT!!!! Close to station Genova Piazza Principe, Aquarium etc etc. Large room is always spotless. Bathroom across the hall but always unoccupied (I guess most other rooms have en-suite.) Quiet - always a great sleep. Because Hotel Major is in the old city it is in a NO TRAFFIC...

Simple but clean, friendly place with a great location and at a good price. Located at the north end of the Molo, it can be a bit tricky to find but there are some street signs. I was pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast is included.

Overall it was a very nice stay there. Room was clean and tidy. Owner is very nice and cooperative. Rented a double room with shared bath. Bathroom was clean. Wifi was working fine. Will definitely gonna stay there if happen to visit Genoa again.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 night. The hotel itself is quite nice and it was clean. We were at the highest floor and there were a lot of stairs to get there so it was pretty heavy dragging our luggage, but that wasn't really a problem. The real problem was the lady of the hotel. We were almost...

I have proven to my wife that even sound proof windows couldn't stop mosquitoes from attacking us in this eye opening hotel. Yes, it's family run, yes you get the real Italian signora treatment - loud, proud and unfriendly. The room we got was stuffy, sheets were bug ridden and had eccentric lights which only worked during the day. It's...

I am pleased to report that the babies mentioned by an earlier reviewer appear to have grown up somewhat and the only children I could see were of primary school age This is quite clearly a family run hotel, and the family quite clearly lives here Once you get your head around that you'll hardly notice they're there! The location...
