As others have said stay in one village and commute to others by train or trail. Some trails are often closed. Trains are quick and easy and you will get plenty of walking/hiking just visiting the villages. Monterosso has... More
As others have said stay in one village and commute to others by train or trail. Some trails are often closed. Trains are quick and easy and you will get plenty of walking/hiking just visiting the villages. Monterosso has the most hotel options. All of the five villages are worth visiting.
