We were firstly impressed by the friendly and prompt correspondence. Upon arrival our balcony room had a great view, was welcoming and clean, the WIFI was reliable, the staff were super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast - superb! We also visited the four other main villages in Cinque Terre and it appeared Monterosso was the best place to be...

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel in Monterosso. Our room was very nice and roomy with a great view of the coast. We enjoyed a great breakfast each morning with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend this hotel as well as the Cinque Terre area. The terrace area is also an amazing place to sit...

We stayed here because of the reviews and this place lived up to every one!! Uber clean, well designed, great breakfast, perfect location - but the owners & staff is what made our trip!! They set us up with great recommendations for hikes, cooking class, dinner, & and they were very responsive over email!

This gem lived up to and surpassed all of the expectations I had read about. The property, the rooms, the views, the lemon trees, the incredible breakfast, the location made it a truly memorable experience in a very special place. Carla, Matteo and the staff could not do enough for us and the other guests. They took care of every...

Wonderful place and will never stay elsewhere in all cinque terra. Great service. Tasty breakfast. Amazing balcony views. Smell of their garden in the evening and very peaceful above the via Roma street. Truly a highlight of our vacation.

Just what we needed and hoped for. We had already spent two hectic weeks in Paris, Venice, Florence and Chianti... I know, rough time. Seriously though, we were looking for a nice place to relax for a couple of nights. This was just right. I've been to Cinque Terre a few times and always liked it. Villa Steno was a...

We just returned from Italy and stayed at the Hotel Villa Steno for a long weekend with our 21 yr old daughter that was studying abroad. It was the most beautiful hotel and the owners, Carla and Matteo were so charming and kind. We loved Cinque Terre and especially loved their hotel. We had a wonderful room with a separate...

Hotel Villa Steno was perfect. It is set on the hillside in the old town of Monterosso and very picturesque surrounded by lemon orange and olive trees. The rooms are lovely and the view from my balcony was wonderful. Matteo and his wife and staff were so warm and helpful, organising taxis, checking train timetables, suggesting restaurants. From my first...

Our family recently spent a long weekend in Cinque Terre and found the Hotel Villa Steno to be excellent. Matteo and Carla have a beautiful, quiet hotel on hill in the heart of Monterosso al Mare. The hotel staff is well trained, the rooms hotel is meticulously cleaned and up to date. A combination of European and American style breakfast...

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the hotel. Everything was perfect at the hotel. Great room, we even had a private patio that overlooked the town and the sea. The breakfast is very good and everyone at the hotel is very helpful. We enjoyed all of the Cinque Terre towns but you definitely need to be ready...
