This trip was a complete joke, I this was a 5 star resort instead I was embarrassed by the owner Tom who kept trying to hit on my wife. I would totally avoid this property if you want to enjoy your vacation.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at La Bouganville B&B. Our family of five stayed in two rooms, each with splendid waterfront views, and one with a lovely balcony. This place is a wonderful base for touring Cinque Terre, and a great value. The location is perfect - you're overlooking the beach, right next to the train station, within easy access to hiking trails, and a few minutes walk from all the great restaurants and gelato places. There's lots of activity outside as various tourists are strolling by during the day/evening, but it quiets down, and then you have lovely, peaceful views of the water later at night and in the morning. The owner and his staff are very friendly, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts, which offered choices of pastries, yogurts, fresh fruits, cheeses and more. Plus really good capuccino and espresso. We highly recommend this B&B as an excellent value and setting for enjoying and exploring Cinque Terre.

We were fortunate to be booked into this gem of a B and B by Hidden Italy for 5 nights, as part of a self guided walking tour. What luck as everything about it exceeded expectation. Andre the host is knowledgable and kind, sharing all his local knowledge and tips for our stay. Anna provided the included breakfast in the morning was delightful and the perfect hostess. Our rooms with ensuite bathrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. They had a ceiling fan to keep us cool and a fridge. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and a couple of minutes walk from the train station. I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you are lucky enough to get a booking.

Wonderful location with beautiful views, comfortable and spacious. Rooms are cleaned daily, and we were happy with the breakfast. For other meals, the area abounds in restaurants. Perfectly adapted to the needs of our party. Andre is a helpful and discrete host.

Wow! We feel lucky to have found this gem! The location is absolutely the best. Steps away from the train station (3 min walk) and the beach. But it’s quite as it’s on the second floor. All you hear is the sound of the waves. It has a beautiful view of the beach and you can see all 5 villages from the window. A nice breeze comes through the windows so didn’t need the ceiling fan. The room was spacious which can be rare in Europe. We had an extra room with a couch and a mini fridge with a view. The owner was very nice and professional. He speaks very good English. He made reservations for us for dinner at the best local restaurants. We really enjoyed Tartuga, which he booked for us. He also greeted us with maps and other tips for planning our stay. Breakfast was very nice. Anna took great care of us. She made cappuccinos or americanos. There were many kinds of juice, yogurt, bottled water, a cold cuts spread, cheese, freshly baked focaccia, bread and croissants. She speaks little English so it helped to speak Italian. We booked through email and phone.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. We would sit out there, mesmerized by the sound of waves crashing on the shore and the striking view of the shoreline to the north of town. Although there is no AC, the bedroom had a ceiling fan and we were very comfortable. The owner, Andrea, was very helpful when we arrived, suggesting hikes and restaurants. Nice buffet breakfasts.

The most beautiful B & B in Monterosso Chinqa Terra. Our host Andrea is so helpful and interesting with a rundown of the best restaurants and things to do. The apartment overlooks the beach and is second to none.

An amazing place to stay! We loved it. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea - RIGHT in front of us. Very friendly owner and good Italian breakfast with great coffee included. Easy reach from the rain station, a short walk into toehold town. Right on the beach - super for kids as there are little stones but easy to walk on, public beaches as well as private - so you do not have to hire an umbrella. Great swimming. Highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a great stay at the B&B. Andrea met us upon arrival, and gave us great tips for restaurants. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Convenient location next to the train station-- which you can't hear at all from the rooms. We enjoyed the big balcony and loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.
