Just returned from 4 night stay there. Beautiful suite for 4 of us, with painted ceiling, modern bathroom and beautiful furnishings. Even sofa bed was comfortable. Best thing was flower bedecked terrace and wonderful hosts. This is not your average Italian breakfast of espresso a cold croissant! Made to order cappucino in morning, plus organic cereals, yogurts, pastries and cold...

Beautiful terrace for breakfast and free coffee / tea, fresh squeezed orange / lemon juice in the afternoon. Thoughtful location of air-con, not directly blowing to the bed while sleeping. And, very clean

Having arrived not long after the terrible floods, we were concerned by the outside appearance of this B&B as we walked up. Though once inside all concern evaporated. This B&B is fantastic. The room we had was nicely decorated, the A/C worked well and the bathroom, while not large, was adequate and everything worked. The B&B has been decorated with...

We enjoyed our two night stay here in July 2012. Pros: 1) Beautiful terrace for eating breakfast or bringing up wine/snacks. 2) Large room (even the "small room") 3) Large bathroom 4) Reasonable price 5) Free Wireless Internet 6) Great location, walking distance to beach, hiking trail, and many great restaurants and bars in both the 'old' and 'new' parts...

We highly recommend Il Locanda Maestrale. It is centrally located in the old town. The owners are extremely hospitable and provide a delicious breakfast. Accommodation was extremely clean, modern and comfortable. Our room had a mural on the ceiling which is reportedly 200 years old and is a wonderful feature. The bed was extremely comfortable after a hard day's hiking around...

Even though Monterosso is still rebuilding after the flooding, this place was overpriced and not so good. Our room was 8 ft from the reception desk, dark and dreary, the bathroom was the tiniest ever and the breakfast was just okay. We were going to stay longer but left after one night. Also, the parking..forget it. They had indicated there...

This B&B is adorable. It is located in the old part of town and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Its about a 8-min walk from the train station. We took a taxi just because we were tired of dealing with our bags but we could have easily walked there. The hotel is on the second level of the building,...

We had a great experience staying for two nights. The location was fabulous and our room was very nice. We stayed in Riomaggiore, it had a large bed, nice bathroom, and windows with good shutters to shut out light. Breakfast was very nice and went until 11 AM which was really nice to have the option to sleep in. Wifi...

We stayed at Locanda il Maestrale for 2 nights in April - Giovanni & Stefania were great hosts - everything was terrific from the accommodations, food & location - Monterosso & Vernazza were hit hard by the events of last October & the spirit & determination of Giovanni & Stefania was clearly abundant - a great choice for lodging in...
