Loved this agriturismo experience in Cinque Terre. Moderate short 15 min walk to the promenade. The accommodation has beautiful views and is in a quiet setting. If you opt for dinner cooked by the hosts, Elena and Tommy, you will not be disappointed. Very relaxing but also easy access to the 5 towns. Thoroughly recommend.

We LOVED our stay at Uliveto nel Parco and if we are lucky enough to go back, we will plan our trip around their availability. It's spectacular. I found it very difficult to make a decision on which village to stay. After experiencing Cinque Terre, I think Monterossa is the perfect starting place for your adventures. It's the only village that offers views of all of the other villages and has beaches. Uliveto nel Parco is positioned on the hillside that faces the villages so it is optimal for both sea and land views. The lodging is charming with the most amazing views you can imagine. Think "garden of Eden". The windows and the door to the room have screens making it possible to have refreshing airflow and to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The decor is simple and comfortable. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast outside and two of the nights, we chose to partake in the offered dinner. It's so tranquil and gorgeous, we really appreciated having meals there. Tommy and his wife make lovely meals including pasta and a main dish of fish. They serve local wines and finish dinner with dessert and a sampling of homemade liquor such as limoncello. Transportation: Upon arrival by train, Tommy was gracious enough to pick us up by the train station and drive us to the agriturismo. Along the way, he pointed out the walking path which we used for the rest of the time. We quite enjoyed the 15-minute walk to town although it may not be suitable for those who aren't okay with steep inclines. All of Cinque Terre involves hiking up and down mountainsides so unless you stay by the water, you will have to hike. Hiking: We did the hike from Monterrosa to Vernazza which took 1.5 hours and was intense. We are in good shape and found our legs couldn't handle more than that. The train and ferry are very easy to use and that is what we did the remainder of the time. It's helpful to have the train app downloaded (Trenitalia or Trainline) so you can buy your tickets online. The ticket machines tend to have long lines. When you hike, wear a hat and bring and hand fan. It gets very warm and sweaty! Swimming: Monterossa is the best for access to the water and if it is warm outside, you will want access. We finished each day with a swim in the sea and it was AMAZING. The water is so clear you can watch the fish swim around your legs. There are no waves and no seaweed. Just beautiful, cool water. Public beach access is limited. You can rent a beach chair for as little as 10 EUR a day and if you do, you will have access to changing rooms. If you use the public beach like we did, be prepared there aren't places to change. We wrapped a towel around ourselves and changed that way. There are signs telling you not to change on the beach, but everyone does it anyway. …

This is a beautiful place to stay! It’s location is perfect - away from the buzz of town but close enough to walk to the beach/trains/cafes. Breakfast is delicious & Tommy is an excellent host. The rooms are clean & the property is very well kept. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great location away form the buzz of Monterosso in Cinqueterre. Tommy and Helena made us fell at home immediately. The meals were all homemade and delicious. The garden is beautiful and nice view of the bay from the house. The location while perfect if you are young and fit is challenging for anybody else as it is a very steep walk up (600 meters) from Monterosso to the house.

When we first arrived at the train station in monterosso, our lovely host Tommy picked us up and brought us to his great agriturismo. We stayed one week at the beautiful accommodation located in a national park. Tommy and his wife Elena are the best hosts you can imagine. Every request was fulfilled. The opportunity to join dinner based on products growing in their garden and cooked by Elena and Tommy should definitely be taken. Grazie mille Tommy and Elena! We couldn’t have wished for a better vacation and we’re looking forward to visit you and your extraordinary beautiful place again.

This agriturismo is a special place. It's on 8 hectares filled with olive trees, grapevines, lemon trees, etc. and flowers everywhere. The view of the entire Cinque Terre area is breathtaking. There are only 4 rooms which are modern and comfortable and it's a pleasure just sitting outside and strolling around the property. Tommy is a great host and served terrific meals and his own home-made wine and after-dinner drinks. It's a bit of a challenge walking back up to the property after touring, but there are taxis available. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I, and our three adult children, stayed in this small paradise for three nights. The surroundings of the agriturismo, which is on the hills, are stunning. The stone house with four rooms is gorgeous. It was so nice relaxing in the garden of the agriturismo enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and the five villages of the Cinque Terre among olive trees, grapevines and lemon trees. The rooms were very nice and clean. It was easy to reach the beach which was a ten minutes walk - a little longer returning uphill. The owners Elena and Tommy, and Tommy's father, are lovely hosts. Breakfast was great and we had dinner twice which was absolutely delicious. Elena is an amazing cook and those meals were definitely among the best meals we ever had in Italy.

This place is so, so beautiful. The grounds and the views and even the cozy little stone home where you stay and take your meals. From your room you can see all five towns of Cinque Terre and you can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cup of cafe and just feel your body and mind relax. Hosts Tommy and Elena are the best - they cook and chat and teach you a lot and, if you're lucky, let you play with their children. We were there in bad weather and still loved it; I would love to be there during the temperate season. A few details: Tommy and Elena will cook you dinner if you request, and we found that way more delicious and pleasurably than going into town to a restaurant. (includes homemade liquors for dessert, as well as delicious actual dessert.) Also, the breakfast fruit was the freshest we had in 3 weeks in Italy - you walk past the orange and strawberry trees and strawberries on your way in and are surrounded by them. This is high up on a hill above the town of Monterosso al Mare so expect to walk up a pretty steep hill on your way home at the end of a day of touring (cabs are available). Driving onto the property is a little hairy - hairpin turns and dirt road and steep inclines - but Tommy hopped in our car and navigated along the way. I'd like to go back here and just sit on the property for 2-3 days.…

Wow - stayed here based on the recommendation of a friend, and it was lovely. The property is absolutely gorgeous with incredible views of the Mediterranean and the other Cinque Terre towns. Our room was simple but nice and clean with all comforts of home. The outside space is wonderful with lots of chairs for lounging among the olive and lime trees. Tommy and Elena are perfect hosts, and we enjoyed the night they made dinner immensely. The walk to town is about 15 minutes downhill, which means coming back is uphill but it's manageable and so nice to be able to walk to a plethora of restaurants and activities.
