Small, simple place for a decent price in a great location in Monterosso. A market, post office, atm, and several restaurants very close. It's about 10-15 min from the train station. The owner, Andrea, was very kind and good to us. He offered recommendations on things to do. Overall just seemed like a warm hearted person. It's not fancy but...

We stayed at Albergo al Carugio for two nights. We were staying in one of the smaller rooms but that was not a problem for us. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Andrea who took care of us is extremely helpful and friendly. Explained the area, gave us good information about the hiking trails, made a reservation at...

This is my first review on TripAdvisor, and it's for the place on my trip that most deserves it. As other reviews mention, the host Andrea is simply wonderful. He takes an active interest in his guests' experiences, and truly cares about making sure people have a good stay at his hotel and in Cinque Terre. Can't recommend enough :)

I can't say enough how impressed I was with this property. Initially, I was a little weary when the hotel (or B&B in this case) does not ask for a credit card to secure the room. Not only was it easy to find from the train, the host Andrea was nothing short of spectacular. We asked for hiking trails which...

Andrea is a fantastic host! He gave us a map with directions, lots of information about the area and restaurants and shops. He was very organized and...

We spent 3 nights here and were very pleased with the accommodation. As others have said, the rooms are small, clean and comfortable. Ours was in the front over looking the street and we were not bothered by any noise. Andrea is a wonderful host with lots of suggestions and helpful hints. People should know that you have to go...

We found this place through an email placed to a central accommodations site for Cinque Terre. Andrea got back to us right away and offered us a small, but comfortable room at his hotel. It was very nice! Clean, quiet, comfortable and yes, small, but perfectly adequate for our needs at a very good price. Andrea was extremely helpful, offering...

AMAZING!!!! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Andrea who is very friendly, helpful and a genuine honest person. In 10 minutes he explained the maps and gave valuable recommendations on what to do in Cinqueterre. He really cares about his hosts. Each time we went out he asked us how our day was and where we visited....

We hiked on our way to stay here and were greeted by the owner who was very friendly. He allowed to pick our our room between two choices and to clean before officially checking in. He provided us with a map of the area and showed us his suggestions for dinner and breakfast. The following morning he helped provide us...
