We reached Monastery by bike, stumbled across it really, cycling from Levanto. This was an exhilarating ride, on a relatively traffic free road. We were rewarded with stunning views and the most peaceful, shaded grounds in which to spend some time resting and sit meditatively....More

Loved this place. Freshly renovated bathrooms and rooms, although a little on the small side. Lovely owners. Breakfast provided and water free of charge in the fridge in the rooms. A fair way out of town, but there are buses but they stop at 7:30om....More

To walk to di soviore is fairly strenuous and anyone with walking difficulties would be advised to consider this climb very carefully. We, two reasonably fit mature couples took the best part of two hours to reach the site. The track is rough in places...More
