We had a lovely week at Il Patio. The situation is excellent, high but central and accessible by a long slope with just a few steps down to the front door.. Inside the accommodation is simple and pleasant with everything that you need for a self catering stay. We stayed in the flat with the little patio and appreciated being...

The room was a wee bit smaller than what we needed after 5 weeks of traveling, but our hostess Maria Piera, was so very accommodating that we were quickly happy. She met us at the train station so we wouldn't get lost. She welcomed us with her own wine, and just so much more. The nice part about this place...

This area and this guesthouse have a lot but there are some have nots. We'd love this place a whole lot more if it had a chair lift. Advice #1 Don't arrive late, after all the restaurants are closed. The darkness masks the beauty while you step rather fearfully, sharply up & twistingly down, all leading to an unknown. Then...

Stayed in Manarola at Il Patio for 6 nights in one of the apartments based on a friends referral. Plenty of room with a separate bedroom, kitchen/dining area and separate bathroom. Small veranda off the bedroom and also a sitting area on a a balcony looking up the mountain side. Apartment was very clean and quiet. Piera (owner) was very...

Il Patio in Manarola is a fabulous little studio apartment offering excellent amenities at good value. The owners keep it very clean and Maria is an excellent host who responds to all inquiries very quickly. The Manarola village is a good base from which to explore the Cinque Terre region. It's relatively less busy which means in high season you...

Kitchenette, bathroom with shower (&mini bath which was cute & functional as a bath), bedroom with good storage space. All clean & fresh. The size of the apartman is just right for 2 people...

We stayed 3 nights in Piera's flat. She is a great host and very accommodating - she let us stay 2 nights in one room and one night in another without any bother, as she didn't have a room available for all three nights. She even left us lemons from her garden for us to take with us! The rooms...

My wife and I planned a portion of our (belated) honeymoon trip touring Italy and spent 4 nights in Piera's sea-view apartment in the village of Manarola in the Cinque Terra. She, her husband, and brother-in-law were most gracious hosts. The booking process was easy and Piera was very attentive to communication. Upon arrival we were greeted just into town...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Piera was great to deal with from the start - always replied promptly to emails, gave us detailed instructions oh how to get there and met us right on time.
