We booked through Airbandb but I expect booking has other options. This is an excellent review but let me address little niggles firstly that are no big deal : A) The directions could be improved with a schematic style map. We could not find the accommodation as it is actually entered via what in Britain would be called an alley... More

Room – We had the whole of the first floor to ourselves as had been confirmed on booking, and it was perfect. With the benefit of having a private hallway and bathroom there was plenty of space and the room was very clean and tidy. We were well aware we were renting a room and not staying in a hotel... We spent 3 days at Casa Capellini in Manarola. The apt. where we stayed had a kitchen attached which gave us room to spread out when we needed too. It has a view of the main Street into town in front and a view of vineyards on the side. The owner's daughter speaks English, otherwise no one does. The rooms... More

I was prepared for steep streets and lots of steps, but I guess I under-estimated just HOW steep, and HOW MANY steps! Wow, not for the faint of heart. I would advise against it, if one is limited in mobility at all, or is "large", or has a cardiac condition. But if you are fit, or "fit for your age",... More

We stayed in the Camera Alta, the top suite, for 4 nights. It's best feature was the huge private patio with an almost 360 degree view. It was like having the entire town of Manarola and the surrounding hills on the palm of your hand, not to mention the seaview! Perfect for morning coffee and romantic dinners. The apartment was... We spent 3 nights in the upper floor apartment. Very small with a small balcony, but very modern and clean which was adequate for us. The climb to the top is a bit understated, but doable even for pensioners like us. The view was spectacular. Since it was such a hike up by the church we dined at Billy's each... More

We stayed 3 nights and found Manarola to be the most beautiful ans least touristy of the 5 towns. The view from our 4 th floor balcony equaled any other spot in town, especially at sunset. It was great to be able to buy pastries and have coffee out there in the morning. The small apartment was clean and comfortable,... More

Our family of 4 stayed in 2 of the rooms on the 2nd floor in May 2015. The rooms have amazing views from the balconies overlooking the town and the water. It was easy to find the home and while it is a long walk up the hill, the whole region of Cinque Terre has hills. The area is nice... More

This was our first visit to Manarola, the area was spectacular and we enjoyed the hikes, views and of course the food and wine! Gianni and Franca were wonderful hosts. They made sure that all of our needs were accommodated and were also very helpful in wanting to offer any assistance we needed outside of the hotel. If you are... More

Wonderful stay in a clean room, with an incredible view from our room. The hike is very steep up the hill, but worth the view from your room. The bathroom is small but functional. We were the only guests that evening so did not have to share it.

All rooms are independent. We have no room with shared spaces. Let us ensure that there are never shared spaces. If you want to put in plain do not come to the Cinque Terre; the villages of the Cinque Terre are countries with many ascents and descents. If you have stayed with us, thanks for the review.
