The room I stayed in looks nothing like the photos. It's minuscule (could barely walk once I had my suitcase in there) and has no window (only the glass door with a semi-broken latch that acts as a window). No breakfast. But the worst parts were 1) the smell of sewage that seeped in from the bathroom even when the... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was a great base for our Cinque Terre leg of the trip. First off, the village Corniglia is a great place to stay in the Cinque Terre, less touristy than the other cities and lovely at night. If you're planning on hiking the five villages, Corniglia being directly in the center makes... More

We stayed one night in Corniglia, which a very beautiful town in Cinque Terre. Probably the less busy one of all 5, that was the reason we chose it. I see many liked their rooms in the B&B, we were not big fans as the room we had was very small, especially the bathroom with a tiny shower. The bed... More

To start there was some confusion because of language barrier about the bed and "breakfast" situation. I would describe this as a perfect little apartment with a nice breakfast place across the street. But you know breakfast in Italy: a pastry, espresso and some juice, so it worked out just fine. Now to Le Terraze itself. Our apartment had a... More

HINT: If you can possibly avoid taking your car here, do so. The train from La Spezia takes about 20 minutes tops as compared to 60 minutes of windy and treacherous roads. Once you are here, there is absolutely nothing you need your car for, so not having it is no issue at all. HINT: If you do take your... More

My wife and I visited Corniglia in the busy month of August. The room we rented was on the top floor of one of the many rooms available at Le Terrazze. It was very spacious and had two terraces, one overlooking the Main Street and garden that was shared with another unit and a back terrace that was private. The... More

Le Terraze is very close to the center of Corniglia which is very convenient, but do leave the car at a train station outside Cinque Terre---driving and parking are only for seekers of special adrenaline highs. We were pleasantly surprised that the room had a refrigerator. It also had a non-working stove (not a big deal since we did not... More

I will fall short of words to describe this place. All I can say is that this is the best b&b I have been to located on the main street "via fieschi" of Corniglia. The owners Maria and her sister are like true gems. They are so loving and courteous. They gave us the matrimonial suite that had 2 terraces... More

Only had one night so the central location proved ideal. Room was spotless and large. Garden/patio was enjoyable. Hiked to Manarola and took the ferry from there to Vernazza and then hiked back to Corniglia. Agree with the comments regarding the scariest drive of my life!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for two nights to take a relaxing break in our travels through Italy. Our little apartment was cozy with a bedroom for hubby and I and a bed in the living room for our daughter. The apartment had a small kitchen with refrigerator, stove, sink, and coffee maker (no coffee). We had a... More
