Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place was perfectly situated to the heart of Trieste, the old town, great restaurants and transportation connections. Great supportive staff, clean rooms, relaxing environment and tasty breakfast made experience complete. As a solo bicyclist touring Slovenia to Dubronvic, the made Trieste special.

Very good hotel in centar. Excellent staff, good breakfast. The rooms are nicely furnished and spacious Parking is nearby of the hotel, which is also okay. It costs €15 per day. I recommend it to everyone.

We did not know this was a two star hotel when booking it , to be fair I have to say that the room was renovated , clean and relatively large with good size bathroom that had tiny shower. The very depressing part is the hotel entrance from the street, steps to the the elevator both of which could have come from Dracula's service entrance. The reception is not manned between 8PM and 8 AM. We arrived late, could not cancel the room , hence had to stay. Small area with limited number of small tables for breakfast. It is very centrally located near main tourist area, few minutes of walk and you can get over the induced depression.

Kind staff, perfect location and good breakfast. The only minus would be that the bathroom is located outside the room itself. Apart from that its all you can ask for. You can also access the hotel easily outside of reception hours which is great if you want to stay out late.

The triple room was perfect. A big plus point is that they thought of me at breakfast and there were gluten-free products. The hotel is located in the city center, 300 meters from the port (Molo Audace, etc.). There are a lot of fine restaurant. 10 minutes walk from the castle. So it's a perfect location.

The staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and renovated. Breakfast area is small ,but we loved it. The food is also good and they always make sure that is enough. The price for one night stay is fair and the next time we come in Trieste we will surely book a room here again.

I stayed for 3 nights in late October in Room 111 with a bathroom allocated further down the corridor. The room was functional and had a wash basin though I did not find the bed particularly comfortable. The bad aspects were: 1) The state of the bathroom: extremely small; damp mound on the walls and in the tile grouting; and a high fixed shower head which made it impossible to adjust the temperature without getting a cold soaking. Even worse was the extremely cramped breakfast room making it difficult to pass between the tables and the poor quality and limited choice of the food provided. The amount charged was 270 GBP.

It was my first time staying in a 2* hotel and it puts a lot of more expensive options to shame! Very pleasantly surprised and glad I trusted reviews. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Nice window that opened to the street. The shower stall step up and soap stand heights were a bit awkward for my height so I did get injured twice while taking a shower, but got over it quickly. Due to covid, we have to order our food online, and they give you the link via whatsapp. I've stayed at so many hotels in Covid and everyone else needed me to fill out a paper form and submit to reception before a certain time... so this was super convenient! The location is close to many main attractions. Many say "great" but frankly it's just that Trieste isn't huge, so location really doesn't matter that much (unless you're staying outside of it). I would totally stay again.
