From beginning to end, the staff could not help us any more! Room was clean, tidy and big enough for us. Shower was great. Room was cleaned and fresh towels daily, even though we did not need them, preferring to re use. Breakfast was more sweet than savoury, but it was nice, and the ladies that made the coffee and... I am writing this sitting on a window pane on the fourth floor of the Milano hotel, overlooking a lively and picturesque street, enjoying my view and absorbing the atmosphere. Accross the road is a music conservatory. The sounds of trumpet and violine playing I hear in the distance give the traffic noise an elegante note. Worry not though that... More

Stayed 6 nights in this family run hotel, very close to Trieste Centrale railway station and bus depot to other neighbouring countries and walking distance to cruise port. Piazza Unita about 10 minutes walk. We cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Staff professional and friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. Our room was very spacious. Breakfast... More

Within a couple of minutes' walk from the station, and overall central location, the Milano is a great choice for those traveling without a car. However, there is parking for motorized guests. Worth gold in a city like Trieste. Rooms and public spaces are all spotless and, as a returning guest, I was glad to see that rooms are being... More

Old building Austro-Hungarian style . Proper sound insulation of windows , although on a busy street , the traffic noise did not bother and also no sounds from neighboring rooms. Average breakfast, average service at the front desk . The room was in line with the 3 stars, like everything else. Location is satisfactory.

Very good in the center of the town and with new restored rooms. The only "bad" in this hotel is the parking area that is far away from the hotel especialy if you have many luggages to carry.Generally very good!

The hotel is well located. If you stop the car to drop your bags off in front of the hotel, you are in a public transportation lane and will be confronted in no uncertain terms by a city a bus. Hotel parking is 160 meters/yards away on a public square; sometimes there is no parking available. The street noise is... More
