We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. As we were 3 people, traveling together, we wanted to book 1 double and 1 single bed room and only got offered 2 double bed rooms (same price) as there was no other option available. After some research with booking.com we managed the rooms ourselves and could directly book a single bedded for more than half of the price. The rooms are very nicely located with picturesque views over the sea. Minibar is only filled with 2 bottles of water (2,-/bottle, in double and single bedded rooms). Amenities are standard, breakfast could have been managed way better, even under COVID restrictions. The selection is very limited, and lots of things are charged additionally (for the price of 365,-/night not expectable). One is only allowed to have 2 coffees per Personen, a third must be paid. The staff was very caring and helpful, and you had to tell them what you want for breakfast, as you’re not allowed to touch anything, what took a lot of patience. After check out, you have to pay 50% of the price for the beach chairs if you wanna go for a swim the same day. Spa is not worth it and NOT included in the room price which is not very well communicated in the whole hotel area, neither on their website. WIFI: 3/10 didn’t work most of the time First floor seems filthy and run down, 2nd looks more elegant and clean! No pillows were offered on the Terrasse chairs, neither the lounge area. After 11pm you can’t have a drink anymore if you come back from the city. Would book again if the price to service would fit and the breakfast was worth it.

If they ask you more than 150€, don't go. We paid double that price and discovered that fares vary a lot depending on when you book. Last minute is much cheaper.. Pros: the sea view Cons: 1. Lack of organization - They had to fix our door, and after doing it, they didn't think to close it, so that our room was wide open for a whole day. Luckily nothing was stolen... The sink in our room had to be fixed during our stay, and after that nobody took care of cleaning. Some things we had to ask twice before any action was taken, and since the phone in the room was not working, we had to take quite a few trips to the reception. 2. What they call spa is a sauna and Turkish bath. They made no issue to cancel the service, which we had included in the original reservation. However we were counting on enjoying a real spa during our holiday. That was a disappointment. 3. One night of rain flooded the ground floor, with the result that mould and bad smell filled the hotel for the rest of our stay. 4. The place is not suitable for babies or people with reduced mobility as it includes many stairs and paths which are in bad conditions. 5. Breakfast, included, was ok, for a normal 3 star hotel breakfast. We would have expected more.

· A beautiful hotel with an excellent location, with some dreamy scenes with sunset and sunrise. Rooms with sea view are incredible · At the hotel the internet does not work and the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Wait 10 minutes to ask someone if you want water and then another 5 minutes to bring your menu in the conditions in which the terrace has a maximum of 15 meals of 2-3 persons and are served by 4 waiters bothering you. Since commencement of the order, 60 minutes have elapsed before the starter arrived, then another 30 minutes for the main course. I ordered a bottle of wine without any recommendation - the waiter just told me that it was a very good choice (probably the price) - I had to serve myself - nobody ever went through just to see if we need something. At the end, it's been 15 minutes since our desert plates were taken and no one came to ask us anything - we got up and we went to give us the bill . It was a disastrous experience that I would not want to live with

We choose the hotel because of the old style and the rooms with ocean view. The hotel is close to Triest. The rooms are big enough, but the bathroom is very small. The hotel would be a five star if it would be managed better. The gardener waters the dried out plants when we had breakfast bothering people. The sad thing about this place is that they have a wonderful terrace with a restaurant. But the restaurant has terrible food which is overpriced!
