Run by mother and daughter, this b&b is a nice place to stay over on your trip to Trieste. Very convenient location, halfhway between train station and the centre. Pricing is reasonable, and the owners are very helpful. Especially suggested if your are looking for a quiet and safe place to stay.

I came here with a friend who'd chosen the accommodation, so I didn't really know what to expect (though I trusted her judgement!!). We stayed in a spacious room with a double bed and small table, with the bathroom across the hall. The decoration was cute and somewhat quirky - loved the horse bedspread! - but everything was clean and...

We had a clean spacious room with a large bed, table and two chairs and a huge wardrobe (closet). There were two shared bathrooms across from our room. They were spotless and roomy. Guilia, the owner/operator, was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, a short walk from the train and bus stations, the waterfront and the pedestrian-friendly elegant 'downtown'.

If you are looking for a 5star hotel, you are probably heading to the wrong place. But if you want a clean and cosy place in the hearth of the citycenter, with high accessibility to public transports (bus/tram/train) for a fair price, then this is the place to be. I booked onlyfew hours in advance and Giulia gave full availability...

The building is fabulous, very atmospheric, stone steps, plain walls and large oak doors - it reminded me of the movies! I booked the single room, mainly due to cost, only 35 euros/night but also convenient location - walking distance from the bus/train station. I was given instructions which were very helpful but It took me some a time to...

When I inquired, single room had been taken unfortunately. I took a double room with shared bathroom instead, which is amazing for the price. (40 euro) If you are not on too tight budget as a single traveler, I recommend you the double room, rather than the single room. Breakfast is included. The owner delivers breakfast to your room at...
