This is a residence. You first have to go to another address to check-in and pay. If you travel by car, this gets very complicated because the residence is located where non-residents are not allowed to trafic. Also, the place where you have to register and get your keys does not have a parking either. They tell you that a parking at the residence is available for 14 Euros a day BUT only for long-term guests. The worst was yet to come!!! As we entered our room, ee were appalled by the filthy smoke smell although the room was supposed to be a non-smoking one. We called the reception. They said they were not informed about the problem by the housekeepers. Not to spoil any further our few available hours in Parma, we preferred to close our eyes and just get out!!

The room was a good size, although it felt outdated because of all the wooden furniture and old bed spread. The shower head was really weak, and the kitchen costs extra to use. The room had a really strong smell of cleaning products, especially the curtains, which made it hard to breathe unless you had the windows open. The location is really good, close to the main streets, and in a nice and quiet residential area. Checking in and out at another hotel was fine because it’s close to the train station, so it’s good if you’re traveling by train.

I came to Parma for 2 days to see my friend. So I book hotel Residency Liberty and I got the worst experience in my life. At first, at all, they charge my credit I get and when I arrived they asked to pay in cash for the room. So I did not have a choice and give to administration 200 euro. As soon I get to my room I call my friend asking to meet me and go to walk around the city. As soon my friend arrived then in 15 minutes came manager form hotel and told me to leave. I ask why and he said that the visitors are not allowed. I said okay if not then not. But he told me to leave and did not return the money. I end up being on street. 200 euro they took and did not return. Moreover, the manager was very aggressive and said he will call Police. I try to ask him what he wants the call to Police for but he was very aggressive. This management is doing scams. They ask you money only cash and throw you away as you are no human being. I have been under stress and I never ever saw that someone would treat people like this. Sincerely Katrina

Booked a room at hotel Astoria, but when I showed up they drove me to this place. Funny. Kind of apartment with a small dinette, 2 single beds and a bathroom. Nothing to complain about, just the price. Paid 110 Euros/ night. That is by my opinion expensive and there were no breakfast.

Very spacious room and well equipped with everything you'd need. I would stay there anytime and recommend it to anyone. The hotel is part of a bigger group and check in is done in a different location- not far but it would have been good to know in advance. The transport from check in (hotel astoria, near the train station) to the hotel and then check out is provided by the hotel. It's very close to everyting you'd visit. Nothing negative about it :)
