Our stay here was limited to one night beings we used Bologna as a departure point from Italy to Germany. La Piazzetta della Pioggia was easy to find and easy to walk to from the train station. Its location was also great for seeing many nearby sites especially since we were limited to just an afternoon. The room we stayed...

We stayed in La Piazzetta della Pioggia for 4 nights in May 2014 - nice room, with modern bathroom, and Ikea-style furnishings in a large, multi-purpose building in Bologna's historic centre, midway between the train station and the Piazza Maggiore. It's within walking distance of Bologna's sights. Breakfast at a bar/cafe on the corner is included. The room was very...

It was a truly pleasant experience at this B&B, very clean and central, the people were very nice and helpful, we had a late flight and allowed us to keep one of the rooms till later than check out time. The rooms are really pretty and bigger than the normal sizes one usually expects in European cities. I highly recommend...

I stayed here in the summer of 2008, and felt really welcomed by the proprietor, Stefano. The room was comfortable, modern and clean, and the facilities were excellent. Pricing is a great bonus, especially given its ideal location near the city centre and the university. Stefano's amiable and enthusiastic personality was a definte selling point, and I'm going back there...

Stayed 1 night at La Piazzetta della Pioggia during a trip around Italy last month. I don not have one negative thng to say about this place - it is great! The building is lovely, stone floors and plenty of character. My room was very tastefully decorated, with a very modern slate tile bathroom and an excellent, very powerful shower!...

This is not really a B&B - just a 2nd floor collection of rooms. There is no resident staff and you have to be lucky to see them when you arrive or check out. One of the beds (thin mattress on slats) collapsed. The "breakfast" is a voucher for a couple of nearby places for coffee and a single roll....
