We booked two rooms in this hotel for just 1 night in Bologna as we had a fairly early morning flight out of there. The rooms are large and the beds were comfortable enough. The bathrooms are very nice. The air conditioner was not working and it was hot. Luckily we were able to open the windows that night and no mosquitoes came in. The rooms cooled down enough. I would stay here again and the reason is Alexander (or Alexandro?) who greeted us and who took excellent care of us! He is one of the nicest young men we have had the pleasure to meet in a long time and he is a real asset to this hotel - I hope they appreciate him. He went far beyond what he had to. I can't even remember all of the things he helped us with but he did call the taxi company and arranged our cars to the airport. They were not serving breakfast (Covid) but he made us all coffee the next morning in the breakfast room. We sat on the (indoor) terrace that night and talked to him for a while. He was working from about 7:30 am until 11 pm. Only 3 staff members were working during the time we were there. We have stayed at hotels that have concierge service and never have we felt as welcome or had anyone be so kind and helpful. If you stay here and he is still there, I have no doubt you will be taken care of during your stay.

Nice enough hotel, clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Breakfast was really good and set us up for the day ahead, lots of choice and good quality. Canal was at the back, saw it by chance when i was walking up the street, was probably a bit underwhelmed after staying in Venice overlooking the canal there. Location was great, so close to everything, walking distance to everything, great market just up the street from the hotel, out the door and turn right.

I am staying in canale hotel and I am so pleased with everything!! The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is basic but the lady tries her best to accommodate you. The room is good sized with plenty of hot water and at an excellent temperature for the winter. Best value for money, I will come again and recommend it. Minor flaws are the pillows and the soundproofing, but not so big as to not enjoy our two more days here

Didn’t know what to expect and or was perfect. It was memorable and we will take away: Giuseppe’s professionalism and kindness, awesome bed and mattress, cleanliness, close to center, the artifacts in the halls, the room size, dine breakfast... and Giuseppe’s Lego collection. Would stay there again ! Grazie !!!
