We stayed here for one night whilst driving through Italy to catch the ferry to Corfu. We chose it as it's close to the autostrada, was a great price (we paid 48euros for 2 adults, with breakfast), and is dog friendly. The room we were in (101), was a good size, with a large bed, a nice hot shower, with...

We were expecting to have a car while in Bologna so chose to stay outside the center. It would've been great if we had the car but plans changed. The bus to the town is right outside the hotel so it's not too bad - beware that the schedule is different on Saturdays and Sundays so if you are going...

We traveled this may to Italy, and arrived at night to Bolognia. After reading the recommendations in this website we drove to the hotel. The area in which the hotel is located looks very bad. Outside of the hotel is a condom machine. We entered the hotel and it looks like a typical low grade roadside hotel. We quickly found...

Our stay was just 2 nights to give us time to enjoy a cultural experience before 2 weeks in Tuscany. Although the two tiered room was welcome (with 2 children) and the staff there were very friendly and obliging, we were not impressed by the Hotel Maxim and would not stay there again. Being in between 2 busy roads it...

Located just fifteen-twenty minutes' walk from the centre of Bologna, and a short taxi journey from both Bologna Train Station and Airport, the Hotel Maxim is ideal for travellers who are either staying in Bologna for a few days, or just using the hotel as a base to travel to Venice, Verona, or Milan. The staff are extremely friendly and...

A great base for excursions into the surrounding area, the hotel maxim had very friendly and helpful staff who spoke English well, a bus stop right outside with a direct bus to the station in about 15 minutes, and in an area that felt safe. I got the impression that it's mainly a hotel for business travellers. The breakfast was...

Hotel Maxim is a small hotel north of the center of Bologna. It is near the A13/A14 interchange, 13 euros by taxi from the airport. The hotel website offers an airport shuttle, but that is wrong. The taxi was about 13 euros. There is good public bus service direct to the train station and city center (10 min.) It has...
