Housed in a historic building on the 1st floor, the apartments have been built from former classrooms Cultural Institute "Ludovico Ariosto", from which arose a few years ago the 'same name Residenza Ariosto. ideal starting point to visit the city and enjoy the nightlife in Bologna, from this favorable position you can move on foot to all the historical center. Near the residence you will find a bus stop with connections to the station and the exhibition center of Bologna Fiere. Piazza Maggiore is just 400 mt. The station can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. The airport is by car or bus 20 min. We are in full Limited Traffic Zone, we are not responsible for any fines, therefore always recommend to park at the Parking City on August 8, which from our residence is situated just 400 mt. We stayed for 3 nights in Apartment 5, which was a really good size. The kitchen/dining/living area was large with all the equipment you'd need - dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cooker, kettle plus a comfy sofa and television (which we didn't use). The shower room works well (and houses a good size washing machine); there were lots of towels. The bed was comfy with lots of duvets for those feeling the cold. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. Best of all though was the friendly and welcoming checkin at Studio Vita - excellent English (my Italian is very limited), with lots of tips on good places to eat, also a map of Bologna with highlighted points of interest. The apartments are in the historic centre of Bologna so nowhere's far away. All-round excellence.

Wonderful place to stay with outstanding caring service. We had a problem with noisy college age or 20 year old neighbors who not only were partying but yelling. I contacted the ‘after hours’ phone number listed in the room not expecting anything to happen. A little later a man came and banged on their door to open up. initially they didn’t, but when he threatened to call the police, they opened the door. he told them if they don’t stop and be quiet he will call the police. Everything was tranquil after. I was truly impressed with their action. They called me, they wrote, and they kept apologizing in person. A fabulous place.

We were very happy with our stay at Studio Vita. This company has several apartments on Via Marsala. We stayed n number 47, apt. Number 1. Finding a 3 bedroom apartment in Bologna is not easy but we were lucky and found this place. It’s a true 3 bedroom apartment and not 2 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. He place was clean, the location perfect in the middle of ld Bologna but still quiet. It has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy a drink or dinner. The management are 10 minutes down the street and very helpful. I would go back anytime. Just a word of caution ….. there is an elevator but there are a few steps to reach the elevator so it’s not really wheelchair accessible.

Valerio & Martina were always on hand to provide any information and extras we needed eg UK adapter. The apartment has everything you need and the shutters keep it cool and dark for a great night’s sleep. Excellent central location yet quiet, lovely red rooftop views of Bologna

Bologna is an amazing Italian city I knew almost nothing about and now I look forward to returning to see more of its hidden treasures. My apartment in the Via Marsala 8 was fantastic, well equipped and very comfortable and a perfect location to explore old Bologna. The staff, Martina & Valerio, were extremely helpful and pleasent, and assisted me in changing my train reservation and had great suggestions for what to see and do while there. The apartment is bright and sunny, and had everything I could need. The bed was comfortable with nice linens, the bath spacious with a tiny ( for me) shower, and a comfortable couch. It was an easy walk to the Neptune fountain and the main square as well as the rest of the ancient city. Gelato across the street, around the corner, lots of fantastic restaurants, grocery stores, shops, I can’t wait to come again and stay in this marvelous city.
