My son and I went on a 10 day vacation to Italy and we used this hotel as one of our main points to travel all around the north.. Not only was the hotel clean, it was nice the breakfast was good and the service was excellent. We took a tip from this site and it was all that they...

Stayed at this hotel for business. Although the hotel was conveniently located and nada very comfortable bed, when asking for an iron I was told we don't do irons only a pressing service which meant €6.50 to iron my shirt, in addition if I wanted a tea or coffee again I would need to order this with a €10 tray...

I have been staying here for the past 5 years for a trade show that takes place every March/April. The show is the biggest show of the year that takes place in Bologna so the prices for the Carlton (and all hotels in the area for that matter) are extremely inflated and book up quickly. The prices are double the...

We thank you for your review about our hotel. We are glad you appreciate our services and staff. We'd like to inform you that we've just updated the rooms with new coversheets and 4 pillows instead of 2on the beds, as you suggested us. About the internet service, we've informed our internet provider to avoid any other future problem. We...

Breakfast was totaly correct (witch is not often in Italy) I recommend this Hotel, for private or for Business stays. Stuff i liked less....Paying internet access.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for business and pleasure for 4 days and would highly recommend it. It is very close the plaza Majore (about 10 min walk) and very close to the main train station. The hotel is on a side street so it is quiet. There is a garage underground for your rental car if you need it....

The Royal Carlton looks from the outside like a typical resort hotel but inside it's more traditional and clearly has a strong business following. We visited on a weekend break. The hotel is a 10-minute walk into the town centre and despite the rain we took advantage of Bologna's many colonnades to stay pretty dry. Its location means it's probably...

We really thank you for your detailed comment about your stay in our hotel. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we are sorry for the power cut you experienced. Unfortunately the power cut was solved as soon as possible but the real problem was that some of the control units had problems due to the power cut and,...

I stay at lots of hotels around the world as an international trade attorney. This was my first time in Bologna, and someone recommended this hotel to me. It is just outside the restricted car zone, and 10 minute brisk walk to central piazza. There is a simple free breakfast served from 6:30 to 10;30 included. Parking is 20 Euro...

We stayed at the Royal Carlton on the last day of our vacation as a base from which to explore Bologna. It is a fantastic location - a 10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, and a lovely walk at that. The room was enormous - we had asked for a double with space for a cotbed. I am used to...

I've been staying here for years and never think to try somewhere else in Bologna so it must be ok. Good quality, decent rooms, everything works as it should and the front desk staff are friendly and professional. If anything, the hotel is a bit anonymous but I don't mind that. It's just a short walk from the bustling centre...
