My wife and I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience, without any of the issues described by some reviewers. Our reservation was honored exactly as it should be, the location is perfect, and the apartment (we had the top loft) was clean and enjoyable. Were there things that I would change? Licia is a warm, helpful host. I stayed in her loft apartment for six weeks. Her apartment is clean, quiet, decorated with antiques to suit this historic building. The bathroom is newly renovated and excellent with instant hot water. The kitchen is small - fridge, gas cook top, electric oven, sink, electric kettle. Plenty of storage for clothes and luggage,...

When we visit, we usually stay at Licia's comfortable, light and airy (nice balcony with roof-top views), self-catering, convenient, studio apartment (2nd floor). Although it is small, it is perfect for a couple and has a fully capable kitchen, modern bathroom, and comfortable living area. The...

It was so easy to get around everywhere including great bars, fresh pasta stores and markets. Accommodations are simple yet enough to feel cozy. Spontaneous conversations and events...

There are 2 guests properties in this lovely courtyard owned by novelist Licia.... we stayed in the self-contained apartment on the top floor. It was cozy and comfortable, with a kitchenette and a lovely balcony. Licia was fantastically hospitable and even served us homemade Limoncello in her garden. The location is good -- lots of great restaurants nearby, and the...
