This hotel is perhaps ideal for short people. My first night (before leaving for 2 weeks and returning for an additional 6 nights) in Suite 8, the toilet was so close to the wall, I could not sit!! I am not tall or a very large person. I spoke to the desk man in the morning and was told that...

Dear Gerry , I'm very sorry for the receptionist that not assign to you a largest room that we have. I'm very sorry that you think to not come back to my hotel, and I respect your decision. I could only try to explain you that I'm always available for my guest and in the future I ask to my...

The location near the Piazza del Popolo is absolutely great. We did all our sightseeing on foot - a nice walking distance to both the Vatican and the Colosseum/Forum area. We had breakfast included, they have juice, some cereals, standard Italian white bread rolls, salami, prosciutto and cheese and a wide selection of sweet pastries which is part of every...

The rooms are pretty small, warning to you but the hotel is fantastic, beaultiful old building, excellent service and in a good location in the nicer part of town. Included breakfast was also pretty great.

This hotel is very well located, clean and affordable. But the rooms are tiny... Went with a friend for the first couple of nights, we could barely move the two of us in the same room. I had to almost slide myself into the shower, between the bathroom wall and the sink. As for the shower itself, it was so...

This place is steps from The Spanish Steps, the Piazzo del Popolo, and much more. The terrace rooms are amazing but be prepared to walk as the elevator goes only to 3 the rooms are on 4. The other little issue is occasionally the elevator does not come at al and when it does it's barely fits two people and...

Hotel Central in Rome is a perfect place to stay to access downtown Rome. It is 3 blocks from a sub-way station and the Hotel is located on a side street between two busy corridors for tourist which means the hotel is quiet, yet close by to restaurants and activities. It also is the only European Hotel I have been...

Close to pretty much everything, it was the best choice for our money. We stayed in a small room but it was very quiet and clean. The service was pretty good considering I speak pretty much no Italian. Would stay again for the same deal.

We stayed at Hotel Centrale for 6 days and the location was perfect for sightseeing and close proximity to major Roma attractions. The street had pavers from where the pilgrims walked! We had asked for a balcony room when booking but were only able to have a room at the front overlooking the street. It was quiet each night. The...

This small cosy hotel is located in a very nice area 10 min walk to Piazza di Spagna and 2 min to Piazza del Popolo. There are many nice restaurants and trattorias around and if you like shopping you have Via del Corso 1 min away. Via del Corso is a pedestrian area here in the northern part and the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is situated in a pedestrian area near Spanish Steps and Popolo Squares, which is extremely quiet and just few meters far from the big Villa Borghese parking. What makes the hotel unique among the others in the capital city is the building fascination; it is in fact a beautiful 1700 palace.
