Just finished our stay in Rome at the Hotel Centrale. Upon entering we were greeted by David who greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. He pulled out a map and continued on to explain some of the close and nearby sites to visit as well as recommendations for other places a visitor...

The manager of this beautiful boutique hotel, David, made our 3 night stay something we'll never forget. Our private garden terrace just added to the charm of this hidden jewel. It may be rated three stars but not for long because David is constantly improving with feedback from his customers that become fast friends. From the moment I walked through...

I chose this hotel from reviews and for its location and I am glad that I did. The central location will save you a small fortune in taxi fares as every 'must see' Rome attraction is within walking distance. Davide or Adi will greet you at the front desk and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through...

This hotel was booked last minute and the reviews were ok. It cost us €147 including taxes for two nights B&B. We were in room 30 on the top floor. The hotel is located 5 mins from the Spanish steps and central to the shops like Dior, Chanel, MK and Guess to name a few it's on a side street...

Hotel Centrale´s location is perfect. Its staff very kind and helpful, but the room, incl. bathroom , on the first floor was just adequate. The folding door to the bathroom was not good enough. Breakfast was not good either, but again the staff was very kind and helpful.

This hotel is close to many restaurants, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. The elevator only goes to the third floor, so we had to walk up one more floor to our room. No big deal. It was worth the extra steps to get our wonderful terrace to sit and relax after a long day of walking! I would definitely stay...

This hotel is a cab ride from the main railway station Termini. Only 8 euros but totally worth it. Great breakfast, large rooms with English spoken and understood well. Just walking about this area is wonderful. Quite close to most things. Highly recommend to friends and family

This is a pleasant hotel, if you are not too big. Rooms are clean but very small, bathrooms are even smaller. Friendly staff, good location and good breakfast. This is a nice hotel if you do not care for spacious rooms.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is situated in a pedestrian area near Spanish Steps and Popolo Squares, which is extremely quiet and just few meters far from the big Villa Borghese parking. What makes the hotel unique among the others in the capital city is the building fascination; it is in fact a beautiful 1700 palace. Moreover, the hotel is one of the few that, being located in the centre of Rome, can offer advantage our rates. ... more   less
