This was our first hotel out of four on our trip to Italy. It was a nice, quiet, location close to the main train, bus, and metro station and surrounded by a bunch of restaurants, bars, little shops and an outdoor swap meet (?). The room was clean and spacious for the two of us but would have been too...

we used the Crosti hotel to rest up after our flight from the US before we caught our train the next day. The room was clean and comfortable, they have a lift but its rather small. The bathroom was nice, the bed good and thy had a decent breakfast with a very nice lady attending to things there. I have...

Adorable Hotel with super friendly staff. The hotel is modern, very clean. Great breakfast in the morning. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. The Termini is a 5 minute walk away. We also walked to most every attraction within 30 minutes easily. Safe quiet neighborhood, especially at night. The family also runs a great restaurant just up the street,...

The apartments with terraces are clean and comfortable. Nice to sit out on the terrace of a night time and enjoy a glass of wine. There is a lift albeit a little on the snug side but be grateful for small mercies.

Went for a 3 night break in March. The weather was fantastic and the hotel albeit small was in a great location for local bars and restaurants. A trip to their family restaurant is a must and one of the cheaper meals away from the touristy parts of Rome. Close to the termini and metro or only a ten minute...

Crosti was located in the perfect area, less than a 10 minute walk away from Roma Termini station. Room was very clean and the morning complimentary breakfast was very handy before heading for a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here while visiting Rome!

Loved our stay at Hotel Crosti. Great location, close to Termini Station. Quiet and convenient. Room was very clean and modern, staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was one of the best on our travels.

We opted to stay in the apartment instead of the class hotel room. We loved the location and the privacy. The only difference was that breakfast was not included with our stay. This was not a problem at all because there is a great little market at the end of the street. The building also has an elevator !

We flew from Paris to Italy. We arrived to this hotel at 12:05am with a friend and hotel were surrounded by drunkies and a prostitute look alike. While checking in, we were assigned to ROOM 206, they were staring at us and our luggage the whole time. GOOSEBUMPS! We were so afraid to go out at night or go bars....

Dear urc2but, It is unfortunate you felt so unsafe in the area our hotel is located in, particularly given it is very lively, full of hotels and restaurants, situated at walking distance from many guarded offices and embassies, just to name a few: British Embassy, 550m Turkish Embassy, 180 m Russian Embassy, 300m Carabinieri headquarters for central Rome district, 240m...

We stayed at Hotel Crosti for 3 nights at the very end of March and had a wonderful time in Rome. We used the train to get from/to the airport; 32 minutes non stop and just €14 each..... marvellous. The hotel is easily found from the Termini being no more than a 15 minute walk with cases. Tube stations are...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
