We booked the Crosti hotel directly rather than go through other websites which helped a lot in our case. We were here 26th December 2016 for 3 nights. Our original booking was for 4 nights then we changed it to 5 when we arrived. However, due to the change in itinerary we cut it short to 3 nights which the...

The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk from termini. The room I stayed in was renovated and it had everything a traveler would need, including a comfortable bed, a small refrigerator, hot plate, a sink, and a kettle. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. Over all I enjoyed my stay at the Crosti hotel and will stay...

Helpful staff, very clean rooms and linen and an abundant buffet breakfast. Location very near to Termini and other important sights like piazza Barberini. If I visit Rome again I would definitely choose the Crosti Hotel.

When we arrived at Crosti Hotel we were welcomed by the receptionist in good English. He was friendly and gave us all the info we needed, and a map of town. Someone else showed us the room and helped us with our luggage. The room was like new. Very well laid out and very clean and modern. The bathroom was...

We stayed in their apartment for six days, which is a few blocks from the hotel. The room is basic but spacious and clean. The room was serviced every day, which was nice. We got the top floor with a HUGE balcony. It was wonderful to sit outside after a long day of walking. The staff was very helpful and...

I stayed in the hotel because it was close to railway station. Good location - one can walk from the station. However, rooms are quite small. Overall, the hotel does not have too much space - it is one of typical small properties where I can just sleep after a tiring day. I did not like their breakfast spread -...

Nice big, clean rooms with a shower. About a 7 minute walk from Roma Termini train station. Decent breakfast with espresso. Friendly staff. Double pane windows to keep the room quiet. About a 20-25 minute walk to Colosseum and Forum. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
