We spent a lovely romantic weekend at Royal House in October last year. The wonderful lady who welcomed us gave us all information needed, was there for us always when wanted and told us everything about attractions in Rome, buses, metro, opening times, everything. We also had a very nice breakfast and eventhough we had plenty of options to have...

The best Bloody Mary. Visit here early for late breakfast. Sit on the balcony enjoy the sun, watch the street band and sip your drink. Very friendly staff and excellent all around. I highly recommend it.

Best place, most economical place, to stay near the Colosseum. Try to get one of the rooms with a view towards the Colosseum. It is absolutely awesome. It's definitely on a busy street so there will be some noise. We loved walking around the neighborhood. Very authentic. A coffee shop just a block or so behind the hotel with locals...

Will definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there myself again another time when I get to Rome. The staff was perfect, helpful and the service was so good. They made us feel very welcome. Also the food was delicious and the free breakfast was the best we had in our time in Italy. The view was simply amazing....

We stayed here by default as our B&B double booked us but they did offer us this hotel as it was within the same family. We were able to book in early and Katya took very good care of us. We had a good size room overlooking the Colesseum which is in a very noisy and busy part of town...

The hotel is placed right in the front of the Colosseo and Palantino Hill which are the major landmarks of Rome having a good access to the Termini Railway Station and Fiumicino International Airport by Rebbia metro line. However for €80 a night (second floor rooms) people would expect a clear separation between smoking and non-smoking rooms (as some people...

The hotel is in a fantastic location with a view of the Colosseum right outside your window. The rooms are well kept and spacious - the bathroom is huge! The problem with the hotel is the noise. My room was right next to what I am guessing was the maids quarters or perhaps a cleaning cupboard and I was continually...
