If you are willing to take the extra effort to get there, you won't be disappointed. Just a short walk from the Cornelia Metro stop on Line A. What you will find is a modest but immaculately clean facility situated in a gated property. The amenities in the room included clean linens, cable TV, speedy wi-fi. The grounds are situated... The hotel is located close to a metro station, a few stations from Vatican, it is therefore a good location to visit the city. It is located in the middle of a big park and it is very quiet. The rooms are not big but very clean. The airconditioning was working well. The reception staff spoke very good English. The... More

The hotel is basic but is extremely good value for money. We spend very little time in the hotel (as I'm sure most will....after all there is Rome to explore!!) so we only require it to be clean, have hot water and a comfortable bed. Casa La Salle ticks all of these boxes. When we arrived we were greeted by... More

The hotel is in an area that is easily accessible by metro to the centre of Rome, although the area near the metro station (Cornelia) seems slightly dodgy? It felt a bit off, although nothing in particular happened to us,and the hotel is behind gates and seems quite secure so there were no problems as such. The facilities are very... More

We stayed for two nights in Casa La Salle Pros: quiet neighborhood, close to the subway - cornelia station, clean rooms, beautiful surroundings. Cons: Breakfast is not great, there was a lingering smell of eggs on the plates. The shower was tiny.

The hotel is basic, old, no thrills but comfortable. The rooms are clean and quiet. Close to Cornelia train station and then easy access to Rome Downtown. For sure there are better options. Price is very cheap and overall is ok if you do not plan to stay all day in the hotel.

The price that I got this hotel at was a bargain, so I thought. Until I looked up airbnb. There were rooms available at nearly the same price near the city center that looked a WHOLE load more cheerful. One thing that's great about this property is that it's huge and the surroundings are beautiful. Let me help you dear... More

For my first visit to Rome I decided to stay at the 'Casa la Salle' an old nunnery dating back to 1680 to add to the experience of the eternal city. The rooms themselves are small and basic. Roomy enough though if you're not intending to spend much time in the room itself. It includes your own shower and a... More
