Really great location - simple, clean rooms. I liked this hotel a lot and the staff were really helpful and polite. The breakfast was of good quality and a good start to the day. Just a 3 minute walk to St Peter's Basilica.

Stayed here for four days. Couldn't be more convenient to the Vatican. This place was a convent/ bed and breakfast. The rooms are sparse but comfortable. the breakfasts are good but not much to choose from. Never seemed to be a problem. There is a bar in the lobby open until 11:00. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting close proximity...

The location is outstanding--4 minute walk to St. Peter's. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it's extremely comfortable and clean. It's simple. It isn't the price of a 5 star hotel either though. Wifi was best late at night (past 10 pm) or early in the morning. The breakfast consists of croissants, apples, clementines, toast, and salami and...

This isn't a five star hotel, but if you want somewhere clean, comfortable, with friendly staff, good food, a nice bar, free wifi and a central location, this is second to none. The people who run it are some of the nicest in the business and it's literally two minutes walk from St. Peter's Square. There are several good restaurants...

But the manager arranged for accommodation across the street at Residenza Madri Pie. This spotlessly clean hotel is run by the church. So servers at breakfast and cleaners are nuns in full habits. Of course being almost next to St Peter's a lot of the guests are priests, nuns et cetera.

This is the third time I stayed here and a first for my friends. The English speaking staff were friendly and accommodating. Madri Pie is very safe and secure, about two blocks from the Vatican, and less than a block away from excellent restaurants and other small shops. The rooms are simple but reasonably priced and will accommodate 3 people...

This is a great find in Rome. The accommodations are simple but adequate. The hotel is clean and well run by the nuns who staff it. A lovely breakfast is included starting at 7 a.m.. Rumors had it that there were strict regulations; never saw or heard of any. The doors are open 24 hours and the desk is staffed....

We stayed here in Sept 2007 for a short visit to the Vatican. It was a short walk to St. Peter's Square. The rooms were simple and very clean. The breakfast not just muesli, but eggs, salami & cheeses. Peaceful & contemplative gardens to enjoy as well.

The rules are strict, but the staff is wonderful! Fabrizio was incredible. The whole reason why we came was in support of the canonization of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII and Fabrizio showed us beautiful pictures of him and Saint John Paull II. We came there for basics, and that is what we got. It was perfect!

Stayed at the Residenza as part of a large group in May. The accommodation was excellent = clean and quiet. My first floor room with balcony was large and perfectly comfortable. The food at breakfast was adequate = having to feed a group of 50+ all on the move together, as well as cater to other guests, was well organised....
