Just had a great 4 night break at this hotel, staff were brilliant and very helpful food in the beautiful roof top terrace was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and full of character as is the whole hotel. All attractions except the Vatican are walking distance so in a great location. There is a few restaurants and cafes...

A truly fabulous hotel- very baroque style so if standard hotel beige boredom is your thing, look elsewhere! Spotlessly clean hotel, very comfy beds and great shower. Rooms were spacious and serviced every day. Breakfast was really good, eggs & bacon and then the standard buffet style of cereal fruit pastries etc. Great selection of teas, really liked that touch....

This hotel was booked as part of a package, along with five other 4 star hotels, the Romanico Palace was a real disappointment and absolutely no where near as good a standard as the other hotels. This is not a 4 star hotel, in my opinion, it is a 2 star hotel. The rooms are grubby, the corridors are abysmal,...

Like the majority of reviewers I and my wife were more than happy with this hotel. There are numerous +s which started with the helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel - nothing was ever too much trouble and they always had a smile. The room itself was more than sufficient with a good sized bedroom, a nice firm bed,...

The location of this hotel is great. We walked everywhere no need for public transport if you like walking. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. The rooms were comfortable. One night there were some people outside the room making a lot of noise. When we told the hotel reception the next morning they...

Great address, close to via Veneto and the U.S. Embassy. A place worth seeing is the restaurant of the 7th floor, with a view. However the rooms' furniture is bit dated, at times, one of two lifts is used for house-cleaning purpose only. Also, the bar should improve the supply of snacks. In Italy, at a bar, you don't want...

A very nice hotel, around 20 minute walking distance to all the main sites - nice neighbourhood with good restaurants very nearby. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous - rooms variable, we were given better rooms when we asked for ones with a view so it's worth asking if the hotel isn't full, they were quite happy to let us choose!...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
