We were moved to this hotel after our original hotel was overbooked- it definitely worked out for the best! The location was great, just round the corner from the Trevi Fountain, so within walking distance of almost all the sights. The Metro is only a five-ten minute walk away for any bigger distances, and there are lots of decent restaurants... More

Fabulous place to stay, especially if you get the room in which you can see the fountain from. The place is right where the action is and beautiful. The top of the building is the restaurant and you get wonderful views from there also. Would definitely stay there again.

4 storey hotel 30m from the trevi fountain - OK you come outside the door right into the crowds but the double glazing is good enough. Reception was mainly good although one lady was not having a good day when we spoke with her - otherwise they were good. Breakfast (nice small open garden that looks over the fountain) was... More

Took the plunge and booked this hotel based on it's very central location. It's right next to the Trevi Fountain so in terms of getting to places and finding your way back it's perfect! Less than 10 mins to the nearest Metro (Berberini), Spanish Steps and Pantheon. The room was massive with very high ornate ceilings. The bathroom was quite... More

Back in March we went to Rome for the rugby and as we had such a great time at the Fontana the last time there we booked again. Things had changed as they had added new rooms and we were staying in one. It was over looking the the street but as always with the windows closed no street noise... More

Just come back from 4 nights in Rome staying at this hotel and can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is superb. Having the Trevi fountain right outside is fantastic and all other sights were in close proximity to the hotel. There are lots of informal restaurants seconds away. The room was lovely. We had two double rooms which were... More

My sisters & I stayed at this gorgeous hotel for our annual reunion. We had a room with 3 beds in it. (Not rollaway cots!) The room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The included breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious, and we could either sit in the lovely dining room, or out on the patio with a spectacular view of... More

We stayed at Fontana Di Trevi initially because of its location which almost couldn't be better if being in the noisy heart of Rome is your thing. It was great everything was so accessible, being Easter Rome was particularly manic having a central hotel was a real bonus. Inside the hotel was clean comfortable and well sound proofed, the staff... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Relais Trevi Fountain RomeWelcome to the Relais Trevi Fountain in the historical centre of Rome, the ideal accommodation for an unforgettable romantic break in one of the world’s oldest and most spellbinding cities. Our luxury rooms & suites in the historical centre of Rome has undergone recent refurbishment to make it an immaculate yet personable accommodation in which you can set your mind at ease and make the most out of the cityThe Trevi FountainOne of Rome’s most popular landmarks and probably the most famous fountain in the world, the stunning Fontana di Trevi was immortalised in the 1960 classic Fellini film La Dolce Vita, starring Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg - who famously frolics in the fountain on a balmy Roman night. Needless to say, frolicking in the fountain today will probably land you with a hefty fine to pay, but if you can resist diving in, this beautiful Renaissance masterpiece is generally regarded as one of Rome’s most romantic spots. Our LocationTaking our name from the fountain, which is just a few metres away from the entrance to our luxury rooms & suites, the Relais Fontana di Trevi puts guests deep in the cobble-stoned heart of renaissance Rome, with other landmarks such as the Spanish Steps and Piazza Barberini within easy walking distance. ... more   less
