This small hotel was a great base for a few days sightseeing in Rome. 5 minutes walk to Ponte Lungo Metro gave us access to most to the tourist areas. There was also the 85 bus to the Colosseum from a bus stop around the corner, and a local train to Fiumicino airport. All the staff we met at reception...

We chose this hotel as it was near to the centre of Rome but far enough away from all the main tourist places. The hotel was an excellent choice very near to the required metro link (Porto Lungo). The hotel and facilities are very good and clean. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable and maintained daily. The breakfast...

Equipped with a very comfortable bed , central heating and internet service. The showering facilities were clean and very good as well. I stayed with my family twice in August in this hotel. It is not a fancy one, but clean, 5 minutes walk from the train and the metro. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The train is around an hour or less by train, the only issues is that if you come with big luggage, going out/in from/to the...

This is by no means a 5* star hotel, nor does it pretend to be, but it's a good 3*. We had a small room which was very small - OK if you don't want to spend much time in the room. It overlooked the centre of the block so had no view and very little daylight which made it...

Dear kentishdorit, thank you very much to have been our nice guest. The Hotel Tuscolana is very well located just one block away from underground that connect the city center in around 10 minutes. Great shower, right next to really big and cheap Supermarket, very close to metro, close to laundromat, nice breakfast with awesome chocolate pastries - although come early because it was very sparse after 9:15am. Very friendly front-desk-guy (with great English), and really nice Barista during breakfast. We thought it was really funny that the word "elegant" was in the description...

We chose this hotel because it is easy to reach from Fiumicino airport (local train line at 8 euro per person), close to the ponte lungo metro stop making it easy to visit the sights, and an excellent price for a three star hotel in Rome. When you first leave the train the area looks a little run down due...

Dear AreOhBeEeAreTea, we thank you for choosing us for your vacation in Rome and makes us so pleased that you have enjoyed it. The location is great, as you saw, because the Appio Latino district is full of excellent restaurants serving Roman and below the line of the metro to the center in about 10 minutes. We arrived September 12 and stayed until the 24th. The staff was always helpful. The hotel was very clean. I got to practice my Italian with the two young ladies who ran the breakfast buffet. The breakfast had a nice selection of Italian and American favorites. The location of the hotel was a 5 minute walk to the Metro. This...

Staff were so warm and welcoming, gave a free map on arrival and recommendations of places to visit! Area felt safe with good local shops.
