We need a hotel near the Termini, we came with the late flight on Friday and we have to left early on Monday (5am). After reading all good reviews, we arranged Charter Hotel for 3 days! However after the first night, we left the hotel. It was NIGHTMARE! I personally slept not more than 3 hours! It was very noisy...

Handicap accessible, no steps. Beautifully remodeled and comfortable. Just steps from Termini Station, restaurants and shopping. Staff was super. I left valuable belongs in my hotel room. They secured my items and mailed them to the USA. They went above and beyond to solve my situation. Professional and honest staff. The best experience ever!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I had a problem with my reservation and they were SO helpful and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes and gave me a room right away. All staff is really friendly and the location is IDEAL. It is a good price for what you get, its a small...

Great place for an overnight if you have a plane or train to catch. We came up on the train to Termini from Naples and needed to catch an early morning airport bus to Ciampino. Hotel Charter is less than five minutes walk from the train station and the airport buses leave from stops just the other side of the...

Close to Termini Station. The staff is top notch. I got there at 8a.m. because of my flight. They did not have a room ready (I did not make a reservation, just walked in) but allowed me to leave my back packs with them. Told me a room would be ready at 2p.m. Returned from my touring about 4 or...

The Hotel was as we expected in close proximity of the Termini rail station and reasonably price. Excellent fron line staff especially Roberto who went out of his way to charge my cell phone / iPad and also provided me with hot water on occasions when we wanted some coffee in the morning, The hotel is within walking distance of...

It is a much appreciated well located small hotel in Rome at relatively reasonable price. Right beside the central railway station Termini with plenty of all kinds of amenities within walking distance. While the Termini station area might seem a bit seedy and not too upscale it is safe albeit noisy (so, ask for an internal room). The staff are...

50 metres from Termini Station near plenty of restaurants , flea market . Hotel very clean rooms a bit small unless you had room number 34 . Good shower but no bath. Front desk staff excellent with Roberto exceptional and Nino also very competent. Since there was no breakfast on site Roberto made sure that hot water was available in...

Stayed for one night as was in transit, so location from Termini was perfect. I didn't want to spend too much and I feel like I got what I paid for, i.e value for money. I guess August rates are better since its not peak tourist season. Its a simple dated Hotel that is clean. Front desk was very friendly...

The hotel is located really a walking distance from the Termini (train station). The room is sooo worth it, and the service is really good. Love the vintage wood windows (but they still have the modern window that is safe) and the vintage elevator! Check for the air condition operation dates!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
